Have had a problem with my new floor in new home from beginning. W**** has responded but with little to no results. I have seams that are noticeable immediately walking in door. When Mr w**** walked in he acted like I was the only one to see it. But has been a talked about thing with new home as it’s the first thing you see. Was told we would have to continue to put putty in seams , but it would come back out when it hardens. I continued to show him open seams to where you can see staples where wood had opened at seams. He said most likely caused by putting the flooring along the seams of subfloor. I did ask if you know this why would you do it and he said it couldn’t be helped. . I think knowing this I would make sure by measuring that it would be avoided. . And this is in different places on the floor. I have owned 3 homes in my life that all had hardwood floors and not one seam opened In our small development all the houses except for some I have not spoke with have the same problems and are due due for their 1 year warranty inspection and from what I have been told the flooring is first on their list. I hope they get better results than I have. To be in business for this long you would think they would have solutions to this problem. But evidently as long as they are okay with it then they are satisfied. When Mr w**** came in I told him and showed him the issues and his only solutions was to keep putting the putty into the seam and yes it will dry up and come out. And that when you put a seam over the subfloor then it’s going to happen. Like I said earlier if they knew this there has to be a way that this doesn’t occur if that is indeed the cause. The way he worded it, it was not their problem and said he had to go. I am not saying to take up all the floor but take up where it has open seams and fix the problem and put floor down where it doesn’t do it . When Mr. W**** absolved himself of any responsibility. There are more complaints coming maybe. we will see.

I am amazed at how unprofessional this company was and how poor my experience was. I was scheduled for hardwood refinishing to begin Monday (1/17). I have an email from the sales rep confirming 1/17. Confirmed 1/17 when I paid the deposit roughly a month ago. Confirmed again Friday when I called because I was worried about the weather. I've moved all of the furniture from the downstairs, boarded my dog for the week and taken the week off of work for this to get done only to have these idiots try to bounce lie after lie off of me today. Unreal. To be honest, I didn't think much would happen Monday because of the weather but figured I'd get a call to get started yesterday or today... Nope, nothing! I called Weeks yesterday and today several times but nobody picked up... left a message on their voicemail. Finally, the sales rep called me to tell me she thought I wanted the job done in February. Blatent lie number one. I called the office again and spoke to a woman who confirmed that we spoke on Friday and I was indeed scheduled for the job to begin on Monday (1/17) but they're working with a skeleton crew this week because of bad weather (no mention of we'll start as soon as we can or anything). She has me speak to Luke W**** who makes up a third version of reality saying my job would not be scheduled until February and that he only received my deposit on 1/10/2022. Blatent lie number two. I forwarded him the email from the sales rep and also the paid receipt from 12/23/2021 to which he gets miffed and says, "I can't explain that". I think he was put off by the fact that he'd been caught lying. I had looked up some reviews on this company and it appears that most of the bad reviews are centered around missed appointments, disorganization and no-shows that appeared to be way too common. I wasn't about to let them continue with this job if they (sales rep, office staff and, presumptively, owner) were too incompetent to take a deposit, schedule the start date and show up on time. I might have worked with them some if they didn't try to weasel out of the whole thing by lying. I can't imagine the quality of their work would be much better than their customer service was.
