I parked the car and trying to pay the parking fee on the meter. Meter is not readable, not working properly and user friendly at all. I paid the ********************** for 2 hours, came back in less than an hour. I found a ticket. This is unacceptable. This was in a ************ downtown by the rooftop restaurant parking lot. There are lots of complaints against this business, city should take some actions to fix this.ParkSmart, Inc. Response

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the parking system at Bay Street, managed by ParkSmart, Inc., which has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.I had anticipated complimentary parking, as suggested by the app. Nevertheless, after having lunch and making a purchase at their stores, I was surprised and displeased to discover a $30 parking ticket on my windshield upon returning to my car. This incident raises questions about the legality of such practices, particularly in the absence of warning signs in the parking garage.Despite my willingness to provide patronage receipts as evidence, the lack of transparency and an unfair approach in implementing parking charges has left me feeling mistreated. This experience has led me to reconsider my association with Bay Street and refrain from future patronage. In addressing this matter, I am posting this review to emphasize the importance of transparency and fairness in Bay Street's parking policies. I am hopeful that this issue can be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action taken to ensure fair and ethical practices moving forward.Additionally, I find the handling of parking disputes by ParkSmart, Inc. concerning. Requiring individuals to print and mail dispute forms, without providing an online option or email, raises questions about transparency and convenience. In today's digital age, such limitations seem outdated, and it gives the impression that the company may have something to hide or could be engaging in potentially questionable practices.ParkSmart, Inc. We have over 270 signs posted throughout the parking garage, and two large signs the size of a vehicle posted at each entrance. In addition, we also have loudspeaker voice announcements reminding customers to pay before entering the shopping center area, large QR code payment signs posted throughout the shopping center, and 16 large-screen parking payment kiosks.ParkSmart, Inc. This "company" (criminal enterprise) is bogus to the **** I took my father out for Sunday lunch at **** on Piedmont Avenue AND FOUND A PARKING TICKET ON MY WINDSHIELD when I came out. On a Sunday. I called the restaurant. They said it's out of their hands. I know for a fact the restaurants buildings (**** and Pomelo) are owned by the same entity that owns this ridiculous PARKSMART ************* In other words, they are hurting these businesses with impunity. I will never visit those restaurants again. Put an extremely bad taste in my mouth. What a load of c***ParkSmart, Inc. Response

Have you ever encountered a company that not only lacks online dispute resolution options but also forces you to resort to archaic methods like filling out a printed form and mailing it to them? This raises serious concerns about their transparency and customer service standards. It's disheartening to see a company embracing such outdated practices, especially when online convenience has become the norm in today's digital age. This company's approach to dispute resolution leaves much to be desired and paints a grim picture of their business ethics. In an era where technology has made communication and transactions seamless, this company's refusal to adapt to modern methods raises questions about their commitment to providing a fair and efficient experience for their customers. It's unfortunate that some companies seem to thrive on tactics that exploit hardworking individuals. Instead of fostering a positive relationship with their customers, they rely on tactics that create frustration and inconvenience. Such practices not only tarnish their reputation but also make customers feel taken advantage of.In a world where businesses have the tools to make interactions smoother and more customer-centric, it's disappointing to come across companies that choose to cling to practices that belong to a bygone era. As consumers, we deserve better companies that value our time, respect our concerns, and prioritize our convenience. This company's questionable practices serve as a reminder of the importance of holding businesses accountable for their actions and advocating for more transparent and customer-friendly practices across all industries.ParkSmart, Inc. Our online dispute form can be completed online, however, it does need to be printed and mailed. Due to email address errors and infected and ransomware files being attached to numerous online disputes, we had to discontinue our online dispute option. Sorry for the inconvenience.ParkSmart, Inc. We recently received a citation and courtesy notice on our windshield from ParkSmart at the ********************* parking facility. This "Courtesy Notice" ****** that we have two outstanding citations and threatens to tow our vehicle on the third. The parking relative to these citations have been fully paid through ParkSmart's app and records of such will be included with our dispute letter/application. I shutter to think of all of the individuals who have elected to pay erroneous citations to avoid the time and ****** of disputing them. How a company that practices such heavy-handed and sloppy business practices maintains an A- rating with the BBB is astounding to me. This ****** me off enough to forward letters of complaint to the corporate offices of ********************* **************** ********************, and *** Threatres. This letter will emphasize the loss of our patronage as a result of ParkSmart's threat of having our vehicle wrongfully towed. I will also file a complaint with the *************************ParkSmart, Inc. Response

Disabled parking is not recognized. I was shopping in the ********** shopping area, and was ticketed at 6:16 PM. The number is disconnected, and no one wants to take accountability for discriminating against a disabled passenger (and after business hours). The number is always closed, Representatives are not helpful and hang up when you call.ParkSmart, Inc. Response

I did pay the parking fee! This happened in **********, the *** center. This parking lot used to hand out paper tickets and we pay before leaving. Make total sense. About a year (?) ago, the gates were removed and no more paper tickets. Only post signs of "3 Easy Ways to Pay.." Okay so I went last night, paid at 9:45pm after my movie ended, came back to my car, found a "ticket" with $30 all day fee to my wind shield. The ticket was issued 9:40pm. I walked up to the person who issued this "ticket" and confronted. I was told I was supposed to "scan and pay before I went to move, they will put a hold on your card, and before you leave, scan again to pay the total". The ONLY sign there was "3 Easy Ways to Pay.." I validated the parking inside *** and I did pay for my parking! Every park garage asks your to pay before you leave the place! And because of this absolutely confusing and unclear steps to pay, this scammer company ParkSmart rips off customers with the all day parking fee. I will never park there again and this whole thing was ridiculous. ****** dispute over email/website/phone, had to mail in the letter. Come on it's 2022!ParkSmart, Inc. Response

We have signs posted throughout the garages and entrances, 17 parking pay stations, text to pay, scan QR code to pay option, or download the ParkSmart-***** app to pay. We also have loudspeakers at each customer entrance portal to remind customers to pay in advance. You may have made an honest mistake using our new system; we will do a one-time waiver of the All-Day parking charge once we verify you did get your parking validated. Your should receive a written response to your dispute letter within the next few weeks.Feel free to call our office if you have any questions.Customer Response

Nope, the signs never say the steps to pre-pay before going in. It keeps telling people how to pay. This is clearly misleading advertising and honey trapping customers so that you can give out the all day ticket fee. Shame on you.Review from Nick B

Their meters give misleading information. When the green light is still flashing and Im trying to figure out how much time is left. dont show me how much time is left after I pay the meter making me think I have a hour longer than is displayed. That is just plain deceitful.ParkSmart, Inc. Response

How do these predators get an A+ rating? I got a "ticket" at a STREET meter on SUNDAY when the meter itself said, FREE PARKING - NO FEE REQUIRED. When I called them and asked what happens if I ignore the ticket and do nothing, the woman couldn't answer. Who are you people and who in the BBB are you paying off?ParkSmart, Inc. Response

Based on our investigation and photographs taken of your vehicle and meter you were parked in, the meter display screen displayed Expired. If you would like to dispute the Invoice, you may do so within 21 days from the Invoice date, we are happy to send you photographs of your vehicle parked in the expired meter.
