I got a gift card that was brand new attached to its cardboard and I scratched. When I wanted to use it I scratched and type the code at checkout on the website. The card was empty….. this is a scam. Sephora has a very bad reputation for not honoring the scams on the gift cards and they don’t give a damn about it to refund or even simply just stopping physical gift cards. There are several thousands of people who are scammed every year. I will start a legal action and will gather the maximum of people in the caseSephora Response

Had to return a sephora item using a return shipping label that they provided. Tracking is still showing in transit after more than 30 days and Sephora won’t issue refund because they are denying responsibility even though they provided the return shipping label.Sephora Response

I have been trying to get information about missing items in my bag only to be brushed off and telling me they reviewed footage without asking me any IDENTIFYING information. They will not even allow me to view footage of my OWN transaction to see what was in the bag. They absolutely **** with customer service and are not letting me get my items that I do not have!Sephora Response

Like others who have written a review on here and on other sites across the Internet, Sephora is a terrible business that does not stand behind its products and does not put the customer first. My son purchased two ********************** gift cards at the Sephora store itself for my sister and my birthday $50 per gift card so he spent $100 at the Sephora store July 7 upon attempting to redeem the gift card we were told that both cards had zero balances. My son has the receipt purchase gift cards from his credit card. Sephora customer service after lengthy told us that the gift card had already been redeemed on July 13 for both of our cards by the way. My sister and I both had just the card number and the pen scratched off and by the time we even did this the card had already been used obviously a scam. Obviously Sephora has internal issues, but they dont really care about the customer because it is the customer that is losing money, not **********************. They are getting their money. All their customer service does is to read a policy to you over and over and over again Their website has an issue and is allowing gift cards that have never been redeemed by the purchaser or the person it was intended to, but obviously by some type of corruption at their website, they simply do not care about the consumers . Maybe all we can do is to not support this business and hope that they will eventually go out of businessSephora Response

Someone stole my identity and opened a credit card under my name, and purchased two gift cards. I immediately called Sephora's **************** to report the issue. They said they would investigate. I called several times to follow up and they kept saying there were investigating. I just got a notice that my account was sent to a debt collector even though I never heard back from the ****************. I just called Sephora and they acted like it's not their problem and I need to call the debt collector. Does this sound like an honest business?Sephora Response

Rip off,Thieves, False Advertisement and Deceitful!!On June 1, 2024, my kids and I entered the Sephora store located ******************************************************************************************** located in *************. We went in and found a good deal for a father's day gift. It was a travel bag that contained 12 cologne samples. The gift deal was for the father (in this case my husband) to try all the samples and once he chose his favorite one, we could come back to the store and he would get the normal size cologne. This bag of samples cost me $96.30. I paid and SPECIFICALLY ASKED THE CASHIER WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GET THE *******. She said just come back to the store, tell us about the bag you bought and we will give you the normal size.Today, July 13, I went back to the store with my husband so he could select the cologne of his choice and NOW THEY TELL ME I NEEDED TO BRING A VOUCHER THAT THE *** CONTAINED THAT HAD A CODE. When I complain and explain that ***** explained that to me all they could say was oh well sorry about that but we need that voucher.So I basically paid Sephora $96 for 12 sample colognes. Needless to say my husband is so disappointed as he was looking forward for his gift. SEPHORA IS A RIP OFF!!!Sephora Response

Sephora inside the Kohls store in *****, ** Employee name: ******** June 18, 2024 At about 7:00pm my grandmother and I walked into the kohls store located at *************************************************** to look for and find make up. My grandmother has been going through a hard time due to the recent loss of her husband of 60years. I took my grandma into the Sephora store inside at the Kohls store in hopes to find make up to do a makeup transformation to lift her spirits. ********, your staff member working at the time was extremely unprofessional and her demeanor was disgustingly rude. My grandmother and I werent greeted. We werent helped, in fact when I asked ******** if she could please check for more of an item that was out of stock on the sales floor she refused to do so and just flat out told me whatever is out is all that there is. I asked if she could check at a the near by location up the street before I head there. No again, she said you guys dont have their contact information. My grandmother walked off, no longer wanting to stay and find make up for her make over she felt uncomfortable as did I. I continued to look a big more and as I approached ******** she was locked into a conversation with a man who appeared to be a worker at Kohls. When they finally finished talking I walked up to the counter and she was stuck on her cell phone. I asked again, could you please check the computer for the item, nothing again. I purchased a perfume sampler from Sephora, which has the option to receive the full-sized product of your choice from those samples. This item is final sale and is not refundable. For one of the full size perfumes, the company Nette is discontinuing selling through Sephora. Sephora is still selling this sample set with no warning that 1/6 perfumes are unavailable. I have already reported this to their customer service. They still havent even edited the website entry for the product to remove the Nette option from the list in their online store, let alone from the voucher that were supposed to use to redeem. I received some bonus points and $10 off my next purchase for the inconvenience, but what I wanted was the perfume that I was advertised and that I paid for. Not my second or third choice. Poor reviews are stacking up on this product online with the same complaint. This is false advertising. They know they do not have this item in stock and that they will not be stocking it again, and they have done nothing to make it right for others and the bare minimum to make it right with me. I am very disappointed in Sephora over this, despite being a long-time customer and having spent no small amount there.Sephora Response

Sephora credit card company is very unprofessional. I have had their credit card for over 8 years and recently I been having issues login into their system to make a payment and I always need to make a new password because for some reason it won't take my previous password. It gives me a card time making a payment and when I finally able to make a payment it goes to a different a account that I didn't choose. Their has been 2 charges in my account because the wrong account was used. I explained to the representative that I didn't choose that account but they didn't care it was their awful system who is causing this error. I won't be using this credit card after this. There are better credit companies out there and have better systems.Sephora Response
