      Incompetent. Useless. ******** Appliance came to fix ignitors not working anymore in a Thermador oven. The tech repair asked me, a 3rd time, with a little bit of an attitude, what was not working, when it was in the work order, and I had told him again upon arrival. We told him we didn't have serial number. He looked for it, and said he would have to pull the 8-burner range away from the wall to see it, which was too much work, and he didn't want to do (turns out he was wrong see below). He then looked inside and said he couldn't remove the bottom plate above the burner because one s**** was rusted in and just couldn't be removed. His final work note was "No serial number. Large oven not heating, no lights inside. A lot of things need to be replaced but no longer available from manufacturer". They closed the ticket with our home appliance insurance unbeknownst to us and deemed it not fixable. This did not make any sense to me. So:1 - I went on Amazon and bought a 12-pack of oven light for $7.99 and replaced the 2 light bulbs myself. So much for no longer being available.2 - I contacted Hi-Tech Appliance in Marin based on their high reviews on yelp and proficiency with Thermador. ****** arrived on time. Within a couple minutes, he removed a small front panel, under which was the label in clear view with the serial number. A couple minutes later, he had all 4 plate screws removed at bottom of oven including the one that was supposedly impossible to remove. He had a Thermador rep on the phone and quickly identified the Ignitor piece to order and said this was in stock, and he could come back to replace it 3 days later.So, do yourself a favor and do not waste your time with At Bay Appliance. I suspect as other reviewers mentioned that they just take the call and service $ fee from the appliance insurance that sends them, with no attempt or aptitude to do anything else. Incompetent. Clueless, Unwilling. Do not hire them and ask your insurance to stay away from them.

      Seeing the negative reviews on this site is crazy because I have a completely different experience with Bay Appliance, one which was very positive While the overall experience of getting my dryer fixed was challenging to say the least, it was evident that it was a my home warranty company that was the problem, NOT Bay Appliance. In fact Bay Appliance's CEO **** personally reached out to me and played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth process. His proactive communication and updates throughout the ordeal were greatly appreciated, providing clarity and reassurance during a very frustrating situation.Furthermore, the technician assigned to the task, *****, displayed an impressive level of technical expertise and was an all around awesome person. From the moment he arrived, it was evident that he knew he was doing and effectively resolved the issue, leaving me with a fully operational dryer.In an industry where service quality can vary (which I've unfortunately experienced from a number of of other companies since purchasing our home in 2022), Bay Appliance shines as a beacon of excellence, and I am genuinely thankful for their invaluable assistance in resolving my appliance issue.I recognize that this review may sound like hyperbole, but it comes from the heart. Bay Appliance is a genuinely good company that helped me and my wife when they were told they didn't have to and would still be paid, but they did help us even though it was an inconvenience to them, because it was the right thing to do. I wish more companies were like them.

      This is a minus review and I would give no stars. The tech wrote that he could not find the model and serial numbers so that they could not order a part. I opened the oven door and there it was. He did not state when he was there he could not find it - it was on a receipt. He did state the abbreviated part name and I contacted the manufacturer and they can overnight the part. The owner should come over immediately and deal with this but the staff want you to use the internet to communicate There is a lack of professionalism and honesty with thus company!!This is an American Home Shield provider. They fail to pick quality. They look for cheap services I do NOT recommend!!

      They make repair promises they cannot keep. I started with a warranty repair in January 2022. It took until February 2022 for the first appointment to happen. After 4 different visits, many 5 hour waits for service, and the enormous amount on-hold time to keep asking for a recall as the situation was not fixed, the "Viking expert" from At Bay could not figure out my intermittent ignition issue. On the last visit, *******, the technician who showed up at the house door, called me and told me his boss told him not to enter the house as they could not repair the problem. If you are claiming you are an expert, then say so. If you don't know how to fix it, then don't keep stringing a customer along, wasting precious hours in the day. I am totally disgusted with At Bay Appliance service technicians and their scheduling clerks. Don't use this firm. A total waste of time.

      Hello,Thank you for your review, as you yourself stated above you are having an intermittent issue, we have replaced a spark module and all the burner ignition switches previously, when we came back we did not see any issue to the unit, diagnosing an intermittent issue is not possible unless you see the failure. Blindly replacing parts is not how we operate.Thank You

      An appointment to service my ******* refrigerator was initiated by the Azurion, the warranty company of JC Penney. I had received a text message from AtBay from somebody named Erwina on 9/15/2021 at about 3:29pm confirming my appointment for 9/22/2021 between ****pm and that the technician will be calling **** minutes prior to his arrival. I received an email dated 9/21/2021 at 5:01pm asking me to confirm that I will be home for the appointment and to expect their technician by the name of DISH to be here between ****. I replied to the email that same day that I would and even followed up the next morning just to make sure they received it.On 9/22/2021, the day of the appointment at about 3:30pm I called the number which was the on the email to ask if they knew what the status of the technician's arrival was to my house. The person who answered by the name of ***** informed that unfortunately the tech had started his first appointment late that afternoon and was still at No.1 while I was the 3rd appointment. I asked ***** maybe he can call the tech but he informed me that they do not have direct contact with the tech anf they will only know once a report has been sent. So I asked him what was their plan B if he's not going to make it to my appointment. ***** said I was jumping to conclusions. I told him that they should always have a plan B like what if the tech is still at 1 or 2 and its already 4:45 then what. Brain then said then we call you. The most irresponsible and unprofessional thing happened was they were a "No Show, No Call". 5:00pm came and went this company did not have the decency to call to let me know the situation. I filed a complaint with JC Penney and Azurion. Told them they should not be doing business that does this to their customers. Their license to operate should be cancelled because of their bsuiness ethics. Beware of this company!!! I can only give them a 1-star to be able to publish this but in all honesty they deserve a minus score!!!
