Working with Capital Edge has been a nightmare. The owner ****** got involved after our project had been stalled and we thought he would help. However, he just continued to be untruthful about the timeline and then just stopped answering texts altogether. Now we are stuck in a hotel with a dog and 2 kids with no really indication of when we can go home.

I desperately needed help catching up on past due bills acquired during covid mandatory 9 week shut down.. The salons previous owner dissolved the buisness and I opened it as a new one 6 weeks before closing for 9.. the date on my buisness license missed the cut off date for the *** loan and my personal credit score disqualified me for the ******* so I struggled thru the closing and pushed thru the slow buisness.. but without Edge capital helping me towards the end of the year, my now busy thriving salon with 3 other employees would have had a "closed forever" sign on the door... I gave it 4 stars because of the steep cost of the loan.. $6000 loan $2000 fee $435 week payments.. but in all honesty, I would absolutely ?? do it again! Also, my state of NC had declared a state of emergency due to a snow storm so my shop was closed. I asked for my payments to be paused for 1 week and, they paused my payments for 3 weeks without me even asking...extremely accommodating as long as you talk to them! My loan is 3/4 paid off, they've offered me additional funds at a much more appealing rate! *side note.. I don't know what the other two reviews are talking about as far as back ground checks.. the only thing they checked for me was if I had a buisness banking account, and accepted credit cards with a merchant making daily deposits into it with a min of 10k monthly...And...drum roll... I was shame stamped and branded with 2 felonies in ****..and a handful of mischievous (not malicious) misdemeanors thru the years... and they never mentioned it.

This is by far a shady company to even think about dealing with!! I was also referred to this company to get a short term financial loan, told everything was good, and sending it to the underwriters for final approval. I called today, 10/28/2021, come to find out I was denied due to a background check!! First off I NEVER gave them permission to run a background check, it was not even in the fine print that one would be done so I could even think of giving consent to have it run in the first place!! Secondly, my business has been Established since ****, and I have all my tax records to verify this information!! to be told I was denied due to criminal history that I know for a fact I do not have, is completely stupefying and quite frankly sickening!! plus they REFUSED to give me a copy of the report, which by law I have 60 days to get a copy of, is another thing that rattles my cage!! I want to know and have a right to see what they are pulling up on me, and if information is erroneous, give me a **** copy of the report to fix it!! this company should not be allowed to do business this way, plus we as consumers, have the right to consent to our background information being pulled, but to pull it without consent is 100% illegal and unethical
