Company only takes money when you never even seen customers to respond to ($30) and charges you when customers does not respond back!!!! Thumbtack takes your money and does not help you in any way!!!!!!Review from Eric B

RUN FROM THESE GUYS!!! They have charged me multiple times for SAME lead! I called for refund, they said they would indeed refund leadand DID NOT DO IT!!!Make NO mistake. Thumbtack Pro is a rip-off. Can you get work through Thumbtack? Of course! BUT, the system is set up to ultimately milk your bank account. This is NO better than *********. Sure you can win, but the question is, how much will you leave the casino with? There are sites that say Thumbtack Pro will work for the diligent pro. If by diligent they mean that you have to check your bank account EVERY day for their shenanigans, then maybe so. But who wants to do that? Thumbtack Pro is a BLATANT rip-off.Review from Sheryl H

Thumbtack is a scam. When we initially signed up we did receive a few responsive leads that were real, we only hit one job out of them but the leads were real. A few months later we get charged for dead leads (non responsive). The leads get reached out to via multiple mediums, multiple times but they are non responsive. This means they are fake and we get charged without even being able to talk to the customer. Even if we dont get the job, we would at least like the opportunity to talk to the customer. But since they arent real customers, it is obvious they will NEVER respond to our messages and calls. We have notified ******** of this multiple times via multiple channels but they refuse to refund, and even worst, they refuse to do anything about it. And that is called a SCAMReview from Dennis B

This has to be the biggest scam on lawn service providers I've seen in a while. They automatically charge your card for dead leads that don't even exist and refuse to refund you when you bring it to their attention.Review from Brian M

I hired an investor named *********************** from ******* On thumbtack. The investigator promised me he could get the information I desperately needed. After a month, I did not receive the information I needed. The investigator just kept making excuses. I asked thumbtack for a refund. i was told by a thumbtack representative that all they do is act as a negotiator! The investigator gave false and absurd reasons why he wasn't giving my money back. I showed thumbtack evidence that the investigator was misleading them. Anyhow, none of this mattered. Thumbtack just gave me double talk and where very vague. The representative would skirt my questions or answer them. I STRONGLY recommend not using this worthless company.Review from John O

Hired a plumber from this service. After the process of rodding my sewer line, I found that the next day, my sink is leaking. I have not hired anyone to fix the sink but would like it fixed. It's the principal, character and pride in workmanship for me. Stick to your original quote. I should not have had to pay $100 more because of inexperience AND extra hours worked and was not told about it, until I asked what was being charged on my card. It took him 2 days to find the right clean out, with MY help!! After the job, I asked repeatedly for receipts, warranty and he said it comes from THUMBTACK.Then after my complaint to THUMBTACK, all of a sudden, he sent it to me. And my TUB!! FILTHY! NO offer to clean it, he just charged the card and left. UNPROFESSIONAL PERIOD!!
