Suspending accounts is extremely unfair. I was suspended today for 2 weeks when I made a few satire posts that were clearly satire but it was during ******************************* Game Awards so they will punish someone like me very severely for nothing while big streamers can harass people and say blatantly racist things and get banned for a few days.Review from John D

Gross Negligence in Addressing Criminal Behavior on Platform I am appalled by Twitch's gross negligence in addressing a recent incident involving a user soliciting murder on their platform. Despite clear violations of Twitch's own community guidelines and potential criminal activity, Twitch has failed to take decisive action against the user or acknowledge their own complicity in enabling such behavior.Twitch's inaction in this matter not only undermines the safety and well-being of its users but also sends a dangerous message that it condones and even facilitates criminal conduct. By allowing such behavior to go unchecked, Twitch is betraying the trust of its community and failing in its duty to maintain a safe and lawful environment.I urge Twitch to take immediate and meaningful action to address this issue, including banning the user responsible and implementing stronger measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. Failure to do so will only further prove Twitch's criminal behavior in running the platform and demonstrate a blatant disregard for the safety of its users.Review from Prefer N

Coordinates group harassment and covers it up for the streamers. They are criminally abusing individuals and trying to solicit suicide from these individuals as well as using illegal black market tactics to monitor specific members of the community. They are selfish as a company and have a disturbingly high rate of not firing streamers who have criminal charges or allegations such as pedophilia. Evidence is often submitted to their reports team and none of the partnered streamers are reprimanded, members of communities are targeted with group harassment and have doctored evidence against them in the community management section. *** needs to step in and bring this company down.Review from Sarah D

Twitch.tv changed their policy to require phone verification. All persons are required to connect their phone number if they want to speak privately to another person, do things with your account, talk in other people's chats that is phone verified chat only stream. The phone number I possess is not able to be connected. Twitch.tv is stating that my phone number is associated with another account. More than likely it's associated with the prior owner's twitch account. I contacted ********************** Help and made a few suggestions. However, the suggestions did not resolve my problem. From my perspective, Twitch has the authority to disable my phone number from the other account so I can connect it with my Twitch account. But they are saying they don't have that authority. Twitch employees are not fully trained to resolve customer issues. ********************** employees are not trained to escalate the issue to higher team members so it can be resolved. Twitch employees do not care about their streamers who are having issues. Twitch should resolve my issue! I just don't understand why they can't do what needs to be done. I'm so upset and I am so disappointed. All they care about is the money they're receiving through my subscriptions, my gifted subscriptions, etc. I do the work to get the revenue and they don't help when I need it. Or, they should remove the requirement to add your phone number. What if you don't want that kind of information to be floating out there? Are you selling our information? Please fix my issue!Review from Dianne P

This company put a recurring charge on my debit card for $39.90 per month. I never even HEARD of this company - have never done ANY business with this company and do not even participate in the services this company offers. This is FRAUD. My bank has issued a refund of my money and is blocking future charges from this company - but it's scary and disturbing that they are stealing money from people. TWITCH should be shut down ASAP.Review from Ryan R

I'm still new to streaming and didn't know quite what was going on. Had heard that there would be a priority based on religious purposes but not viewership, not with a ***** outlet, so I had to start up a new resume with Amazon via their Work-a-day HR website, and that's fine. Will be heading there this week, updating and so forth. I had to spend about 10+ months building a new profiile with Indeed and I didn't feel bad about that at all, based on employers that are comfortable there. However, we still find the same religious, cut throat, bias and in terms of discrimination, finding just as hard to get work-from-home jobs, "remote-desktop" which didn't get kicked into high-gear in ******** until COVID19. Nasty, but in my case, even a signing bonus rocks the markets!Review from Derrick K

They tried to take $19.95 out of my bank multiple times using my debit card without my express authorization. I have not requested any service from TwitchReview from Christine B

Fraudulent charges abound with this company. I'm a 64 year old with no video game players in my household. Twitch charged my debit card $19.95, and after I researched what "Twitch" was, I reached out to them to reverse this charge. I did this via their online fraudulent charge form. (red flag?) They emailed me, and asked me for the same info I had already provided, then asked me to complete another form (pdf) they attached to their email. This asked for some of the numbers of my debit card, not all, and again, they responded professionally about treating this as fraud, etc. That was a December 15th, and they have not responded since. The charge is still on my account. My bank will be dealing with this, and even my local bank stated that they have had numerous fraudulent charge complaints about this company. I'll be going through the hassle of a new debit card because of this, and if you use online bill pay, you know the pain of that process.Review from Elijah K

I am a creator who has used this platform for around 8 months, but now I believe the website has done something at minimum, horrid for creators, and at worst, possibly illegal. If you are an affiliate to the platform, which is most creators that have viewers as once you reach affiliate you gain access to subscriptions, advertisements, bits, channel points, and many other features. I am an affiliate, and on June 6th, 2023, there was a change to the "Twitch Monetized Streamer Agreement", this change states that if the streamer, or Twitch, "terminate the agreement", or if the streamer is inactive for 12 months, the streamer will be fined $25 for a "maintenance fee".This seems anti competitive, as now I have to pay up to leave, and also have to pay up if twitch just feels like terminating the agreement. This is a horrid change for the creators, who are already only paid 30% of the money they make unless they shove a ton of advertisements in their stream!I urge you, if you want to get into streaming: STAY. AWAY. FROM. TWITCH.There is no communication between even the top creators and twitch, not to mention the smaller creators.Multistreaming is also banned. Multistreaming is commonly done by larger streamers where you stream to multiple platforms at once, so say I stream to ******* and Twitch at the same time. If my stream is on Twitch, it cannot be on ******* at the same time, it cannot be on Kick, it cannot be on ******** gaming, it can only be on Twitch. This is horrid. Not to mention Twitch trying to lock down streamer's main ways of working directly with the advertiser to have built in or "burnt-in" ads, which are less invasive as the streamer can decide exactly when they appear and don't interrupt in the middle of a sentence or in the middle of gameplay.Do not use twitch, do not give them your money.Twitch has competition, but they don't seem to know that.Review from LAUREN W

This company is a fraud. Never heard of them until 4/6/2023 when they charged my bank account $44.49 three times. They do not have an operating phone number. I finally contacted them via email, and they say they can't do anything because I don't have an invoice number. Whoever they are, they need to be shut down so they don't scam anyone else.
