I have a 14 year old misdemeanor *** conviction out of ***NYS said I didn't have to register for the charge,and gave me documentation. Checkr is the only company that consistently reported my 14 yr old ************* NYS your not suppose to report any adverse information after so many years,yet they consistently ****** problem,I have a great transportation job with a *********** all because they use another background check co.Checkr is going to cause many employers good workers because every state has different laws regarding hiring. Which Checkr is clearly not following.Checkr, Inc. Response

Checkr has received your dispute request and has completed the reinvestigation for the disputed matter. In addition to resolving the dispute, **** also explained to you why certain information may return on a consumer report. Checkr is not required to remove accurate and complete information from your consumer report.Review from Heather L

This company will refuse to escalade your calls service to a manager or supervisor. While adding inaccurate reports. I have been in a dispute with Checkr for several months now and cannot resolve my issues.Review from Sharon B

I recently applied to an app for work while on vacation. During the process of verifying my information the site proceeded to process what was listed. Within minutes I knew it was an error and proceeded to go through the process of correcting. In the help section it has a step for re-entering information that was improperly entered...or so it says. Now mind you I know that I will be on vacation for about 3 weeks and could use the work to help cover some expences. Anyway going through the "process of correcting" the information gets me no results but says I have to wait 7 business days to be sorted out I guess. Tried to call and talk to someone and that kind of re-assured me that the issue could be resolved by going through the help section and re-entering the info again..so I did again and again, and again, still with no progress and now I'm frustrated because it's been a week. I have reentered this information about 7 or 8 times now and still nothing. When I do reach someone ( email from checkr) ok I need a picture of my info for verification..ok I sent both. To send me an email saying well this info is not the same as the info you originally put in while you were signing up!!! I'm livid now No S*** ******** was that not the whole process of re-entering info when it was originally done isnt that what corrections is?! The purpose of me sending pictures of my info was to correct what the app wouldn't allow me to correct. And then to say oh yea nothing else we can do since its been 7 days, What kind of ***, ************* kind of backdoor baffoonery is being ran. Their help service is all backdoor scam and con artists and is probably forging and selling identities. It's service up front may be legit but from help and support is a bunch of tattoed degenerates thats selling peoples information (In my opinion). They went through a whole lot and wasted a lot of time to get my personal info to then tell my Sorry not what you enterd and past 7 days so were closing this case.Checkr, Inc. Response

They do not have a phone number listed anywhere. Its all chat bots with response not pertaining to my situation. Having yearly routine background check done, nothing has changed. Its been 5 days that I cant earn the usual $200 minimum daily. Its a very slow and painful process if you are an independent contractor and have to wait on chat bots with no relevant answers for your financial successes.Checkr, Inc. Response

Although some reports do take longer than average to complete, we know that this can be concerning. We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize that the report has not been able to complete within the average time expectations.
We have verified that your background check is proceeding normally. Due to court delays and closures throughout the country, we are still experiencing some delays in receiving records, and unfortunately, we will not have an update on your report until these records are provided to us directly by the courts. Please note, there continue to be delays as clerks and representatives make their way through extensive backlogs and other requests.
Please also note that based on the request of the company you have applied to work with, we *** search counties where you currently live or that *** be associated with your address history, and those counties *** or *** not keep electronic records. As a ************************** there are procedures we are required to follow in order to collect information and complete background checks. As a result, we are unable to expedite our search or take additional steps to speed up the process.
We assure you that we are doing everything we can to obtain the necessary records and complete your background check. As soon as this phase of the background check is completed, your report will be finalized. The next step would then be for the company you applied with to reach out to you with their decision.

I provided legal certified copies of my updated driving record from the department of licensing as well as the court paperwork showing that the one thing Negatively Affecting me getting my account back with Doordash was in fact put on my record by mistake, it was supposed to go on someone elses. The issue was fixed with the *** and removed from my driving record but checkr keeps saying that what they have is true and accurate!! I provided legal documents proving that what they have is incorrect but they wont even look at the certified and legal proof I provided them multiple times! They are not getting their records from the actual department of licensing! Extremely unprofessional and this company deserves no stars or even negative stars. If they ignore legal certified documents then something is very wrong!!!Review from Kim C

******************* with a sales rep. **** need MVR's. They sold that to me and then when I get ready to run them, they tell me I must buy a package and MVR's are an "add-on". Went from 9.50 + state fee to MINIMUM of $29.99+9.50+6.00. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!Checkr, Inc. Response

Checkr is using incorrect information on my background check. Information from 2017 which has now been removed from all of my records. They are also using the complete wrong information when describing my charges. *** submitted a reinvestigation and they just resend the same old report theyve been using. They continue to refuse to re-investigate my case to find that the information on my report is NOT ACCURATE.Checkr, Inc. Response

This is one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with! They have the most incompetent representatives in the world. I am having my background checked for Uber Eats - a process that took literally 2 days a couple years ago. They suddenly have some dispute on my profile that I never authorized nor did Uber! They also asked **** to have me send over my SSN card and my ID. I find out that wasnt even needed! Now Im emailing them constantly telling them I didnt authorize a dispute. They keep emailing me back asking me to respond telling them I want to discontinue the dispute I NEVER FILED. I will be making a complaint with the attorney generals office! I am so tired of this sorry company. They need to really do some hiring and some real training instead of putting any and everybody in a customer representative spot. This is the most despicable company! I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARSCheckr, Inc. Response

The *** is only an estimated completion date. We cannot guarantee when a report will complete. While most reports do complete in 3 to 7 business days, some can take longer depending on the counties and courts being searched.
Your background check appears to be proceeding normally; we are just still waiting for search results to be returned. We are unable to expedite your report.
