            On August 29 I went into Goodman's to purchase some cabinet door stops. They had two rows of them marked at $3.49. Upon checkout they rang up at $4.49. I mentioned to the cashier the price on the tags for this item were $3.49 in two different places. She said sorry that is what is ringing up and I needed to go to someone at the main counter, which I did. I had the same discussion with him and he said that prices had gone up. He would not honor the prices marked on the item. He said they did not have time to change all the prices. That did not seem right as they should have honored the price as they were marked. My feeling is that this will keep happening until they find time to put up new prices on the items. All they said was sorry. With this type of service and not honoring what is on the tags, I will think twice about shopping there again. This is a small item but $1.00 markup is out of line and they should have a better business policy when things are not marked correctly. Most stores would honor the tag price and then change it immediately.
