I purchased this framed art (*********************** - ******* Pass) during a Live Auctioneers auction on June 17, 2023. Within a few days I paid the invoice of $1588.38 ($1100 for the art, $341 for a Buyer's fee and $100.87 in tax). The item was then shipped to my home by *** Ground. I paid $101.26 for that shipping. Upon arrival, I discovered that the art was damaged. The serigraph had broken free from the matte and framing and was "floating" inside the framed art. In order to further investigate if there is damage to the art, and to correct the issue, the frame will need to be dismantled and the art will need to be inspected, then reframed. I immediately reached out to the ************************************* responsible for addressing issues with auction items (Live Auctioneers Bidder Support), and I have exchanged emails with them for over two months. I have numerous emails where employees inform me that the issue is being investigated by Clars Auction House and the issue would be resolved...and yet every instance when I reach out - because the issue never is addressed, and the issue never is resolved - I am informed in these emails that I just need to be patient a bit longer. It has now been over two months and I will not wait any longer. I possess useless artwork, and I need to either return it for a full refund, or I need to have it repaired, and either the auction house that sold it or some other entity should reimburse me for it (respectfully). My total cost is $1689.64 and the only feeling I have from this experience is growing frustration. (I can obviously provide emails to and from Live Auctioneers Bidder Support with dates and names) I would certainly expect a first-rate company - this auction house - to address buyer issues efficiently, seriously and quickly. None of these qualities have been exhibited by Clars. Thank you for your assistance. -- ***********************
