    We bought a Temper-pedic mattress from the Ashley Furniture store in Owensboro that had a 10 year warranty. After less than one year we started having issues with the mattress sagging and being very uneven. We have reached out to the store multiple times and were met with horrible customer service and no help in rectifying our problem. We have submitted claims to the warranty center twice with no solution/response. When we called the store the last time the manager told us he was “exhausted dealing with us. This has been very frustrating as this was an over $4000 purchase and we have had horrible sleep on the mattress. My husband has had to start going to the chiropractor, which is costing us even more. We are very frustrated and don’t know where else to go for help.

    My 94 YO father-in-law bought a recliner from these folks this month and the chair was defective when delivered. The store offered to repair this issue in 3 weeks. They also admitted that they were aware of the defect when they sold the chair but intended to repair it once the mfg. supplied the parts. Since a complaint had to be made before the store agreed to repair the chair and admitted to these facts this approach to selling seems deceptive and untrustworthy. He has requested that they refund his payment and they have agreed to this but only after they pick up the chair. I'm not sure we can trust them to keep their word and we will avoid this store in the future. If they do not honor their refund agreement we will file another BBB complaint to alert shoppers to the hazards of doing business here. Once the money is refunded we will buy a replacement elsewhere.
