      I was really excited to be referred to MHS gates and reached out to Nick on 3/29/23. I left a voicemail regarding my needs and he called me back within the hour, leaving me a voicemail instructing me to text him my address and he would let me know when he would be out to take a look at it. Two days later, on March 31st, he called me to let me know he would be looking at it within the hour. After not hearing anything back, and knowing my farm could be difficult to find, I text him to make sure he'd made it out there ok and he confirmed that he did and had all of the notes that he needed. I responded that was good, to please let me know if he had any questions later and that I looked forward to hearing from him again soon. By Thursday, April 6th I hadn't heard anything or received a quote, so I gave Nick a call and left him a voicemail asking when I might hear something. On Monday, April 10th, he text me "We are not going to be quoting your job at this time." Completely taken aback and thoroughly disappointed, I replied immediately asking if I may ask why. I received no immediate response so I called and was sent to voicemail. I left a voicemail communicating my surprise and disappointment, explaining that I hoped he could at least tell me why he wasn't going to quote me job or what "at this time" meant. Finally, he text me that he wouldn't be doing anymore gates... the exact name of his business.. I asked what else he did and was told "Nothing". I asked if there was anyone he could refer me to and was told "No, I don't know anyone." I'm shocked at how this has all transpired and extremely saddened and disappointed at what I perceive to be yet another example of poor customer service and communication. I don't know what happened to the golden rule and treating others as you'd want to be treated but it sure doesn't seem to exist in our society anymore these days.
