            I purchased a brand new house from Classic American homes. During the purchase process I was able to select the colors I wished for both the interior and exterior of my house. I was provided with a color sheet of the colors I selected so I could purchase additional paint in the future for spot painting. I purchased the paint for my interior house walls (listed on the color sheet as requisite grey). The color I purchased matched the color on the color card however I applied it to my wall in places that needed touch *** and now my walls are spotted. I reached out to classic American and they simply said color fades over time. That is ridiculous. I lived in a house for over 5 years and never had any of my walls fade in color. Classic American made no attempts to correct this error nor did they attempt to provide a solution to this problem. This is a big issue as my brand new home is now ruined due to their error.

            Classic American chooses the lowest quality in **** units and has chosen low-quality performing electricians as we have had several warranty claims due to these poorly built electric systems. Our home was built in 2021 and the electrical component of our home caused the **** compressor to short. We have been without **** for the past 5 days and have to cover this expense out of pocket. We made pertaining claims to the poorly built electrical system within the warranty period and this electrical issue has now damaged our **** unit. According to our **** technician, the **** unit is of low quality and the cheapest in the market. an **** unit should last more than 3 years and this unit gave out in 3. Do not choose Classic American unless you demand higher quality units when building your home as they will not cover any expenses. Their sales reps did not advise us to register our Units with the manufacturer which also led to higher expenses as they limit what is covered in the warranty. We are not satisfied with this builder.

            We have received the review/complaint submitted by this homeowner. After careful research from our warranty department, we found that during the warranty period which ended on March 24, 2023, we only received two (2) work orders for electrical issues. Replace the breaker for the clothes dryer and the other one, to replace the **** for the washing machine. Please note that no issues were submitted regarding the **** system during the warranty period. We will not address the product quality or cause issues expressed by the homeowner since it is typical for contractors to criticize work not performed by them. As with most (if not all) manufacturers limited warranties, certain parts are covered for replacement (not all parts) but labor is typically not a covered item.Keep in mind that most **** units (regardless of brand), provide a 5-year limited manufacturers warranty this applies even when no product registration is completed by the homeowner. Based on the closing date, this house still has coverage by the manufacturer. Again, certain parts are covered but not labor.
