After trying several times today to retrieve my document for a meeting with a client and look at doing more forms, their website isnt working. I have tried since 6:30 am (6 hours), still not working. I have tried calling 9 times and cant get through. It states they are dealing with a lot of calls and to leave a message. At this point, I want to cancel the service because there are too many red flags. Im unable to do that because their website isnt working & you csnt get through to customer service. Therefore, this is my notification to them to cancel my service!LawDepot™ Response

I signed up with LawDepot a few months ago and I've been pretty happy with the forms. Forms are easy to fill out and the e-sign option is very handy. Also saving a document and going back to finish up is simple and easy. No complaintsReview from Nancy B

We must have signed up for a free trial a year ago, as we needed one document. A year later of course we didn't remember that if we didn't stop it we would automatically be charged for a renewal subscription. Turns out that sneaky automatic renewal is non-refundable. There was no correspondence leading up to the renewal period - I just saw the charge on my credit card bill. What a scam. Buyer beware - this is not a company you want to do business with. I wish we had read reviews a year ago.LawDepot™ Response

It does seem like an ongoing issue with this company. Like many others I signed up for a free trial and downloaded on document. I could have paid a lawyer less to just do a power of attorney for me considering the months that I"ve been charged. Definitely feels like I've been scammed or at least mislead to take advantage like other online subscriptions that make their money off of misleading customers and sneakily continue to charge them knowing full well that largely these "contracts" get missed by the consumer. It's kind of disgusting.LawDepot™ Response

I needed to replace the living trust for my home. Since I could not edit the existing 1 page deed that was on file with the County, I had one prepared on legalzoom. During the course of setting it up, I was offered an estate planning kit that included the various forms as well as 10 years of storage. I was not happy with what they prepared and was 12 pages long. I paid $25 to have it notorized on LawDepot, but I ended up not using it. (because of the length, the cost would be more than double of the one I prepared) I typed the first one and changed the appropriate beneficiaries and filed it with the county. I have copies and proof that I did not use a LawDepot document. It has been less than 2 weeks since that transaction so I called and requested a refund. They refused. The first person was really nice, but then I spoke with 'the escallation team" and she was pretty hard and rude. She said that is their policy and they won't budge. She said I should have read the terms before I paid. Expensive ******* guess from now on I will need to read the multipage tiny font terms. It is interesting to me that the BBB gives them an A, but reviews give them a 1.88 our of 5.LawDepot™ Response

I'm surprised to see the low ratings for this business. As a microbusiness co-owner, I appreciate the convenience of generating agreements with ease and sending to my clients for electronic signing. It makes us look professional. I find the annual fee quite reasonable for what we get in return, even when we only do a handful of contracts per year.LawDepot™ Response

Unfortunately, I invested time in creating documents after signing up for free trial with my CC info provided. I was unable to edit, download or print the documents. Total waste of time.It says it is rated an A+ by the BBB. This is a lie. It isn't even listed on the BBB list.LawDepot™ Response

I signed up for a one week free trial and cancelled on the 8/7/33 by entering discontinue on the list of boxes that appear. Like everyone else with a complaint, they continued billing me. I was unaware of this for two months. They were useless on the phone. They wouldnt honor my refund request because I didnt respond to the email they sent me that I never received nor realized I should be looking for. Im pretty sure they reactivate your credit card after the cancellation. Ive cancelled the card but still wasted almost $100. They could see the account hadnt been used but didnt care. There are other companies with the same service. Id avoid this one like the plague.LawDepot™ Response
