Hello, River City Hyundai contacted me through a car application on a Silver Hyundai Elantra Limited 2017 on **********.This was last week on March 27th, 2023. They had got ahold of me a little before that and taken my $500 deposit to hold the car I wanted to possibly finance and purchase. They told me they were committed to finding me approvals, but however they never got back to me to tell me what my finance rate would be. They instead told me someone else had also put a deposit on the car,and sent me a blank link initially for my deposit back.It was not until I mentioned bringing legal proceedings, did they refund my money back. Before they even told me the car had another holder on it, they tried to sell me a 2020 hyundai elantra with only pictures and no carfax, or anything else with it. They told me to come in on the 1'st to sign for it. After I refused and went to another dealership, that dealership had informed me that they purposely sent my credit report through to several banks, and everywhere else, and told them not to sign me because I do not have work, when I am indeed employed through Alberta Health Services. My credit dropped from a 642 to 616, and they almost made it near impossible for me to get approved for a car finance. I told them that I knew that putting two deposits down was illegal on a vehicle, and the dealer from another dealership told me that they hadn't even sorted my finance rate or anything to get me a vehicle in the first place. The names I talked to were many, they tried to send me in circles and did nothing to apologise or make things right. There was *****, ******* who wasn't the worst, ******, **** *, and ***** who were both in on the blank link, and almost did not give me my $500 refund back. I am genuinely disappointed that they try to discredit and ruin the reputations of the young general, for their own selfish gain and profit. I am still receiving emails saying my credit score is getting continuously run.
