I am filing a complaint regarding the very early pick up time (3:30 a.m.) for our trash service. It wakes me up every Thursday morning and most of the time I am unable to fall back asleep and I have to be up by 6am to get ready for work. My husband and I both have called to complain and they give us different answers to why this occurs. They told me that it was due to hot weather and they don't want their employees working in the heat of the day. She basically ended the call with there is nothing we can do. They told my husband when he called today it is because they have so much business that they have 3 different schedules now and have to be at the city dump by 4:00 p.m. or they can't dump all the trash. He mentioned going to another company and they said there is nothing we can do and may be someone else can serve you better. I called another company that services our area and it will be serval weeks before they can get us a trash can and there is a $25 activation fee to start the new service. I am trying to understand how this company can schedule a truck route to come so early in the morning and distrup our sleep and say there is nothing that can be done. It is extremely loud and I feel this needs to be addressed and not blown off. I pay my **** on time by auto draft monthly. Isn't there a noise ordinance that can help with this?
