      ******** ******** Home Warranty hired them to investigate the fact that I do not have hot water in my kitchen. Mr. ******* ******* sent his assistant to my water heater, while I showed him the problem. I had no hot water in my kitchen, the water heater was too far away. He told me I needed a recirculating pump in my attic that would cost $1650. They promised to "fill out a form" showing this information. Mr ******* told me ******** would not pay for it. After they left I found my hot water was excessively high. The assistant was in the garage alone for some time with the hot water heater. I am handicapped and cannot get away from the scalding hot water (145 degrees F) in my handicap shower, which is close to the hot water heater. I had my husband turn it down the next day. At no point was I told or asked permission to raise the temperature of the water. When it came time to give me the form showing I needed a new recirculating pump in the attic, the assistant ran in, handed me Mr. ******* card with the words, "For Circulating Sustin? $1650" He said they were out of forms. Then they reported to the warranty company that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my house, and they never mentioned the recirculating pump to ********, according to an email I received from ********. I called Artesian Plumbing and spoke to Mr. ******* son, ****, who loudly insisted his father never promised to write down recirculating pump on a form, and that he would never raise the hot water level on a hot water heater without permission because that was illegal. I said then the assistant did it and he represented the company and you committed an illegal act. He denied it. They would not provide me with a written statement that I need a recirculating pump despite the fact that the company promised to do so. They repeated that ******** wouldn't pay for it. I guess this was their justification for not reporting correctly what occurred.

      Ok, I'm sorry you are still misunderstanding the situation. **** will NOT put in a brand new system for you if you do not have an existing system. Your insurance will not cover it. You called them for hot water issues, not for installing a new system which they will not cover. You were quoted for use to install one if you chose but out of pocket for you. We can not and will not lie to the insurance company just so you can have a new system installed for free.

      And as for the temperature increase on the water heater, we NEVER increase temperature for any reason. That's up to the customer to do that. So again, I apologize you misunderstood what the insurance will and will not pay for under your policy.

      As I explained many times, I do not care whether ******** ******** Home Warranty will fix my hot water issue or not. However, I do care how you acted. 1) you told me I needed a recirculating pump in the attic to fix my problem. 2) you told the company there was absolutely nothing wrong with my house, according to ********. 3) When I woke up the day you were to arrive I showered, and the water was comfortably warm as it is located near the hot water heater. When I went to bed the same day the shower water was scalding. We opened it up and found it had been turned up to 145 degrees F. No one was near the hot water heater except a representative of your company. And he was alone in my garage. 4) Your company promised to put it in writing that I needed a recirculating pump. You absolutely refused to do so even when I called to be "reconciled" with you. Why if it's not relevant to your work for ******** whatsoever, would you not give me a written statement that I need a recirculating pump. And by the way, ******** did not refuse to fix my hot water issue because I didn't have a recirculating pump to start with, they refused because you told them there was absolutely nothing wrong with my house.
