DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM GORMAN MCCRACKEN IN LONGVIEW **!!This dealership lied on pricing reneged on trade in offer and tried to force a $3000 warranty and refused to sell it with out the warranty. Refused to disclose any of this until financing. Also would only offer 9% interest on financing with a 720+ credit score ... ridiculous!Long story short I left in the car I went with, and if you want a good car purchasing experience I would choose any other dealership!!

Spoke to ******* on 06/08/22 and told the the truth , his friend's car with 100K plus and a bad steering rack was only worth ACV $14500.00 and the friend that he is referring to owed $8000.00 more then what the car was worth, we were only showing them Traded in Value to wash them out of the negative equity they had. Banks loan money on how much advance they are giving. Credit may be a good score but there is so much more that goes into the lender determining the APR such as equity, down payment, LTV, term, credit worthiness, selected vehicle, etc. LTV was high so the rate was high, even after his friend's $1000.00 down payment LTV was still high due to negative equity which had a huge bearing on the APR that the lending institution offered the customer. The papers that the customer signed before the finance department disclosed everything for the customer. APR, warranty, price, trade, payment, etc. was all disclosed before customer went into the financing department.
