Wolverine employs some seriously sleazy salesmen! I called to have them replace the media in my arsenic removal system that I bought from another company a few years ago. (As this company is not local, I needed to find someone to do this.) I called Wolverine who said they could do this. **** came out and immediately just started testing my water with all kinds of test tubes and colors (I did not request a water test by the way) and I could tell the guy was just trying to find things wrong with my water to sell me something. He didn't explain well or write down any of these test results but just kept saying everything was bad bad bad.. When he finally went to go look at my arsenic system he immediately started complaining about it and saying he had never seen it before, the valves were wrong, the tank was wrong, saying it was probably fake from China and it didn't work. He said our softener was all wrong too, and my filter, etc. But nothing he said was really making sense or was based on any facts. I have spent a lot of time researching the systems I have and regularly testing my water and I have 2 young children. He had no regard for my intelligence or feelings and basically spent an hour trying to convince me my water was poison. I had to go off to a Zoom meeting at the end but I gave him my email and asked him to send me his proposal (have not received anything yet, it's been a week). My husband said when **** left, he told him it would cost $10,000 in new products to get us clean water and told him a story about a family who didn't listen to his recommendations 10 years ago and they all got cancer and died!! He actually had me crying when I was trying to join my Zoom meeting because he made me feel so bad about my system and scared me about poisoning my kids. I just can't believe a company would use these scare, fear, and confusion tactics to sell. So unethical. Please don't get sucked into their "free" water tests. (which personally didn't even want or need). Nothing is free, they are just going to try to sell you everything they can, however they can.
