I had a problem with my electrical. I had lights that were not coming on. I have done business with in the past with this company but something has changed with the company. The electrician was here for approximately 2 to 3 hours and I know I signed an agreement to pay for the diagnostic fees. But after that period of time, he brought his supervisor out at which point he told me I had to have the whole house rewired all new panels stuff that was completely unrelated to my fixing my problem. All in what he said was the bringing up to code . This is the existing structure with existing grandfathered electrical and they were trying to give me to put $7500 plus the diagnostic fee. I was worried because of the fact that all of this can structure and that he was recommending that I get done there was no option other than to do all of this stuff before they could even do anything. It seemed extraordinary and exaggerated. Im 65 years old and I just said something was very wrong. I had a friend who recommended his electrician who was an employee of the ***************** who in doing what the first electrician did checking all the plugs discovered that one of the plugs had a wire that was actually purposefully crossed to create a short. Im not a detective, but it sure seems like that first electrician was attempting to create a giant job for the company or himself by sabotaging my electrical system. The system would not have worked before he started because there was a GFI plug that was tripped and couldve been easily repaired. Im assuming that they were just trying to inflate the job. This crushed weather could not a visit existed before the first electrician got here. I would like my diagnostic fee returned to me. What they were doing was completely dishonest, and was trying to get a home run repair job off of me. The amount is too small for small claims court or any kind of suit, and I donot the time to take them to court but I have plenty of time to report them

I called Mr. ********************** because I subscribed to their ********************* a $20 monthly offering that includes Front of the ************* ****************** Fee, 10% off Repairs, and 5% off New Repairs. Despite my subscription, I found that they are super expensive, and they inflate the price for diagnosing electrical problems to offer you a discount on the service to fix the issue if you choose them for the work. For example, I called them to fix a shower fan that was tripping the circuit. The technician arrived and spent about 40 minutes diagnosing the issue and explaining their convoluted billing scheme. He confirmed what I told him what was going on. They charged me almost $450 for a single-circuit diagnosis with a $60 reserve service fee. They offered to deduct $200 from the $1,300 estimate to replace the shower fan. They also didn't guarantee the diagnosis and noted that other things could come up after they replace the fan, which could add more cost. I decided not to use them and fixed the fan myself by swapping out the fan motor within the enclosure. I found a new replacement fan on Amazon for $99, which had the required parts. It was an expensive ******* though, since I was still overcharged $450 for very little value. $200-$250 would have been reasonable for what they actually provided.Their approach of padding diagnosis fees is borderline criminal. They should charge for the work they do. Because of this, I would avoid doing business with this company. I have also canceled my ************ subscription.
