              In June, 2022, I hired Renaissance Restorations, **** of ********* to repair a garage roof. I signed a contract for $8,823 paid the final amount in September, 2022. In April-May, 2023, the roof began to leak. I have sent emails and called the owner, ********************* on several occasions throughout the summer and was told that he would come and fix it the next time he was in ************. My attorney advised me that ***** will never fix the roof and that I should contact BBB before filing suit and posting on **** and NextDoor.

              ********************* came out to provide a quote in July and said he could start in a few weeks. I called him back in August and he said he would have someone out in September. I called back in October and he told he did not want to do the job. I wasted 3 months on a plumbing repair and plaster restoration project, with the plaster getting more damaged waiting. Just be straightforward, there was no reason to lead me on.

              **************** called, and I CAME out to the residence. This is his mother in law's home, not his. He stated he is having difficulty finding people to do the work he needed. It is the type of work we do do. However, we are busy and **************** was told that. He said he had no problem waiting until we could do the work. He called 2 weeks ago and was told we are still interested and it would be a few more weeks. Obviously, his patience ran out and now he complains to the BBB. It should be noted that: 1. We were out to the house for a free inspection, 2. **************** is not the owner of the property, 3. We were in communication with *****************,4. Had no contract with ****************, 5. No money ever exchanged hands. 6. At no time was **************** out anything.
