      Always pleased with my orders, I order bulk usually 3 or 4 times a year plus a gift or two. Always been satisfied with products and service.

      BEWARE.....Coho Salmon Filets Full of Parasites I was given a box of filets as a gift inna 2022. To my horror, every filet has had parasites them. One filet had 5! I contacted the company and never heard one heard. Not one single apology or word from them. I finally had to tell the gift giver that the gift was full of worms.They were able to get their money back.That said..the alleged "customer service" agent told my friend that "this hasn't happened in 2-3 years!"HA!! If that's the case, why have I found parasites in the first 3 filets that I have opened??There are other company that scan their filets for parasites PRIOR to FREEZING. I suggest to look for those places if you are giving theft of salmon.

      Hello, we have only ever had one call on a nematode on 1 filet in our 40 years in business even though this can happen with wild sockeye salmon. This call came from an order in January of this year. The lady that called about it, which was the actual purchaser said they were upset so we offered a replacement, which they declined. Then we offered a full refund even though the claim was 1 nematode on 1 fillet (which sockeye salmon, not coho salmon, can have nematodes from time to time which are not always seen. The order was for sockeye). She accepted the full refund which was done in January. This is the only order that has ever been done by the customer and we thought we made it right by giving a full refund. I am not sure why a complaint was made to the BBB months later when we went above and beyond because we stand behind our products. When something goes wrong with a customer we always strive to do right by them because that is how we would want to be serviced by someone helping us. We are a locally family owned Alaska business that strives to deliver premium products and service to customers which is how we've been in business this long. This is unfortunate that giving a full refund and apologizing for their less than perfect experience was not enough to make this customer happy.

      Yes, my neighbor gave me the box as a gift. I sent a message to your company via ******** Messenger in January 2022, along with pictures showing the the 5 parasites. I said in my message they were a gift, and I did not want to upset my neighbor. I waited 3-4 weeks, and never heard a word. I decided my neighbor needed to know. She called you and got her money back. Heres the deal, the filets should have been checked better. EVERY SINGLE ONEso farI eat ONE a MONTHhas had worms! How can it be a once in a 40 year event? And I get worms in 3 out of 12 filets? Next time, I will video the unwrapping of the thawed filet, and the digging out of the parasites. I know this is because the waters are warmer, and the parasites are not killed off. I know farm raised is fed pesticides and wont have them. I know its an issue as of late with wild caught. I know for sushi, chefs are encouraged to candle the filets before using in sashimi or sushi. Howeverthese should have been culled over, or perhaps sent to the smoker? I will eat them, and I will dig out the worms. This would have never come to light, except my very first filet, after thawing, had this weird RED THREAD coming out the side of the filet!! I was curious why a peach colored fleshed fish, would have a bright red Threadwhen I pulled it out, I knew what it was, and then found 4 more. I do have the pictures.
