If you love someone this isn't the place you take them. The first day I brought my loved one a man was wanting to go to bed all night long they heard this man screaming for help know one came and he was dead the next day. If you don't go eat in the eating area and you have your food brought to you there might be a chance you don't get what you want or barely get anything. They pretty much starve you. They don't even make sure that there eating. There food is the worst. Sometimes they say they gave your food to someone else so you get the left overs which is something that you would throw together and give to the hogs. They keep there milk and coolaide and other beverages in a cart so everything is warm or watered down. They keep there ice in a red cooler and once it melts people are touching this nasty thing to get the left over ice, because its so hot in this place the ice melts and they never bring more. If they need help and need to push the red button at night they rarely come after 6pm so you have to pray that they are ok through the night. They don't give them there medications right or at all so you better hope they don't have a lot of medications. Also they dont even know the names to medications and when you tell them how they need to recieve them they wont do it. If you call them you can leave all the messages until there full and know one calls you back. They only call you when they want something. They said if you have any concerns to fill out an orange sheet and they will resolve and contact you, but they don't. When you try to move them or take them out they threaten you that if you leave or move that you have to sign a release form that your leaving with out there permission and your insurance wont pay for you already being there. Know one does there jobs. There so under staffed because its the worst place to work. There social worker ****** is a joke can't even do his job. Some of the nurses was nice but didn't make sure there medications were giving and or given correctly. Some of the CNA's were nice some didn't wanna to work. They might never get a shower and never help if they need to get dressed you really have to keep up on them. If they don't have someone to visit them every day to make sure there being taken care of they might not make it a week. They hardly change the sheets unless you ask. Its like a prison you have to look for someone at night to let you in and out and if your not there before 6pm your waiting for ***** min just to get in cause there phone **** or the staff ignore you. They need to have someone at the doors at all times. Sometimes the nurses or CNAs answer the phone and hang up on you. Know one keeps you up dated on them or let you know if anything concerns they don't even let you know they have bed sores. When you ask to speak to the manager the boss or owner the front door people send you to Carmilla or ***** and they never call you back. Like the owners and bosses are hiding. This is the worst place ever i think prison would be better. I don't know why you would want to work there if you hate old people. Or you hate your job. These people need love and care to. If you stick you loved one here good luck. Now they got bought out by ********care west hopefully they will change things and make things better. They need to get whole new staff. On there call button they should make it if they beep to long the manager gets notified. They dont make sure that they have oxygen when needed. They drop them off at there appointment if they have one alone and confused. Dont even let family know that they'll have to walk so they dont have shoes to wear. They blame you and think that know fault is theres. Once its after there last pill if they get them they dont even check in you all night. Some staff are really **** and throw them around.
