tI hired Judkins to install carpeting in two bedrooms and tile in a bathroom. The owner sent crews that were too inexperienced to do the job properly. When I pointed out the poor workmanship to the owner he sent the same crews to try to fix the mistakes that they made in the first place. The crews were very unreliable, saying they would arrive at a certain time and then showing up two or more hours later or saying they would work on a certain day and not show up. I always had to initiate contact with them. They never contacted me to let me know they would come at a different time or cancel the day. The job should have been completed in a week or two but because I had to have them return so many times to get the job right, it was two and a half months I had to deal with this company. In the end, the owner had to come to complete some of the carpet repairs and he finally sent the only employee who appeared to have any expertise who had to fix seems that did not meet and tears in the carpet left by the other crews. In the bathroom the crews left the nails exposed on the floorboards and when the owner came to fix it, instead of pushing the nails into the wood and then caulking over them, he just pushed them in further, caulking over them. It took at least three visits to get the job at least acceptable. The response time to complaints often took a week before anyone came.
