I purchased the Tucson Hyundai 2019 and I paid top dollar for their service warranty which made the car a lot more expensive. Planet Hyundai refuses to honor that service warranty. Ive never heard of such a thing so I have to drive all the way to Arapahoe Hyundai where I purchased the car to take advantage of the very expensive bumper to bumper warranty. This just cant be right.Review from Lisa P

I've been using Planet Hyundai's ****************** for the past few years to care for my 2017 Ioniq. Up until a few months ago everything was fine. On a regular scheduled oil change they managed to overfill my engine with an extra quart, this can cause serious engine damage. Luckily, the car could hardly run the next morning and I managed to get it back to them using mostly electric to drive. They removed the excess oil and looked for any damage which they claimed was none. On the next oil change I had noticed that oil was dripping from the bottom of my car and I told them about it. Seems that the oil filter was leaking (that's strange). I got the car home and slid a oil catcher under it to keep the floor clean. Haven't driven the car for a month due to having surgery and recovery. Now the floor under my car has oil from wheel to wheel and about two feet across. I called PH and asked the service manager to send a tow truck since all of this oil may be a fire hazard if the car is driven. He agreed. I left a complaint with the *** Their response is to just ignore me. They did something to my car and I want it fixed. I also filed a complaint with Hyundai's **************** and have a case number on which I'm waiting to hear back.Review from Joan D

I recently purchased a 2022 Hyundai Palisade from Planet Hyundai. From the beginning the experience was not good, but needing a car I followed through with the purchase. My sales person was leaving for a new job the next day, as I found out when I went to pick up the car. Perhaps that was why his "introductory ******* was so brief. I was planning to tow a small trailer, so the tow package was of utmost importance to me and I was told all 2022 Palisades come with a 7-pin wiring harness. Information on the internet indicated the same. When I went to have the hitch installed, the installation came with a 4-pin wiring harness. When questioned, I was told Hyundai doesn't even have a part for a 7-pin harness. I was told in the service department that it is common practice for their sales department to often give erroneous information in order to sell a car. There were other incidents that should steer one away from this dealership. My windshield cracked shortly after purchase, and being out-of-state at the time, I dealt with the sales manager on the phone. After sending pictures of the crack, I was assured they had dealt with their insurance company, a new windshield had been ordered, and it would be replaced upon my return. When I took in the car, I was told there was no record of my windshield nor had any order been placed for a new one, and I would have to return at a later date. While waiting in the service department, one of their service writers after finishing with a customer, looked up at me (I had been waiting for 10 minutes) and said he would be with me in a minute, at which time he exited the building for a smoke break. Good customer service?I could go on with other incidents, but I hope you get the point. The business is running, but if you are looking for a reputable business with an emphasis on customer service, you need to look elsewhere!Review from Wendy B.

I bought my 2018 Tucson from planet Hyundai. I was worried about buying a new car alone. Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful and made the whole process easy and fun. I have brought my car to have normal maintenance done ever since. I have never had a single problem with service department or the sales department. I would buy my next car at planet Hyundai and I wont take my car anywhere else for service.Review from Shad K

Car has been at dealer for almost 9 weeks waiting for ANOTHER engine. Engine has been there since December 9th and still 13th in line for installation. ********************* the service manager doesnt think engines are a priority and refuses to fit them into schedule to get done. Dont ever buy a Hyundai and dont ever take your car to be serviced at planet Hyundai.Review from chad s

If there was a lower rating, I would give it. Be cautious in giving them your trust and business. They are greedy, sketchy and will not stand behind anything. I bought a car in September. We bought the car for our sons first car and it was a used car. I thought buying from dealership it would be thoroughly checked over. It looked very clean and had everything checked off our list that we wanted. It was above blue book, yes I know of shortages but just shows they made a lot off of me. Before we even got the tags on the car we noticed that their was a start of spotting under the car when parked. Then the check engine light came on. We took to our local auto shop. Turns out the gear shifter went out, and the leaking was from the water pump. Our mechanic replaced the gear shifter as it was a discontinued item and we had to find from a salvage yard. We took in the car to Planet Hyundai to see if they would do anything about the water pump and thermostat. They said they would see what could be done and what portion sales would pay for, turns out they were not willing to pay for ANYTHING, and even wanted to make a profit off my predicament. So, after waiting a month to even get it in to be serviced. And Planet Hyundai having the car for a week for diagnostics we were told they were not going to work with us at all on the price. They wanted to make money on fixing the issues that magically started a week or two after buying the car. With much frustration and reserve, I agreed to let them fix. Once we got home the check engine light came on again. I am over it with them, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR TRUST OR BUSINESS!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT LIKE MYSELF. All I wanted is the get a safe and reliable car for my son as any father would.
