      This is all over a request to be picked up at a car rental agency only 6 minutes away from this dealership and to be denied that request. The reason for the rental car for 2 days is due to Arapahoe Hyundais service department. This dealership is unbelievably smug. Their attitude is if you dont like our policies go elsewhere. However they know they are the only game in town for servicing in the south Denver ***** area.Their rating is listed as a D- which is being kind! If it was up to me I would give them a F. The only way for the consumer to raise awareness is to boycott these types of dealerships so as to hit them where it hurts. Its the almighty $ for them. What has happened to **************** being the No. 1 priority???????Im a small fish in this pond but in the future I plan on going to a different pond.*****************************

      The car is great but the purchase experience was not. They said I MUST finance the new car (cant pay for it up front) and that I MUST CARRY THE LOAN FOR A MINIMUM OF 4 MONTHS!This information was confirmed by 3 different employees so they must be trained to say this. This is in direct conflict with a ******** law that was passed in 2016 stating that no consumer shall be punished for prepayment of any loan. This type of lying and deception must not be permitted!

      PURCHASED A 2016 ***** FE SPORT AND HAVE TROUBLE WITH IT WHEN I CALL SERVICE DEPARTMENT THEY ARE TO BUSY AND TOLD ME CALL BACK TOMORROW I TOLD THEM I NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ASAP WAS GOING ON A TRIP AND I HAD MY CAR IN 3 MONTHS AGO FOR THE SAME PROBLEM NEEDLES TO SAY I DIDN'T GET TO GO ON MY TRIP BECAUSE OF THEM I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM OR HAVE MY CAR SERVICED WENT TO A DIFFRENT DEALER SHIP WHO IS HELPING ME OUT. YOU ALL **** SINCE THE NEW OWNERS THEY SHOULD NO BE IN BUSINESS AND DESERVE NO STARS.

      STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. I leased a 2021 Santa Fe and paid a good deal extra for the windshield replacement warranty. I recently got a crack in my windshield and this dealership says they are not responsible because I leased the vehicle just before the dealership was sold to a new owner. They told me to contact the old ownership and then proceeded to give me the wrong email address. I finally got what appears to be the correct email address, but no one there will reply to my email. So one one is standing behind the warranty. I agree with the reviews below that we are victims of a shell game. Isn't it time for the State Attorney General to look into this dealership and the transaction in which the dealership changed ownership.

      Don't use this dealership!!! We recently purchased a used Santa Fe along with an extended service warranty. After driving for less than 200 miles, the check engine light came on. We took it too our mechanic who told us that the catalytic converter was trash and that someone had recently reset the check engine light which he said usually stays off for a few hundred miles. It was apparent to him that the catalytic converter had not functioned for some time. A CC replacement is both difficult and expensive since that replacement part is hard to come by. Calls to Arapahoe Hyundai go unanswered and we can never get a manger to return a call. The $3000 extended warranty covers about everything except emissions. For that, we were told we would have needed to purchase the "green package". Interestingly enough in 45 minutes of discussion with their finance guy when purchasing the warranty, the "green package" was never mentioned. One month and $3000 later, I'm pretty steamed and will never use that dealership again. I would encourage all who read to steer clear.

      HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Worst car buying experience and customer service ever. I bought a brand new Hyundai ****** back in April 2022. My old Hyundai was in the shop with engine failure and I needed a car ASAP to move across state. I might first say that it took HOURS to give me a quote on my trade in vehicle. My sales person was still in training, which is fine, but what should have taken a few hours in and out took ALL day. I was told there was only one car in all of metro ****** that matched my needs (simple request, I just needed AWD) so I highly doubt that is true. Sales person wouldnt even look at other hyundai dealerships. I had an important family event and what felt like blackmail by the staff was that, although I signed the initial paperwork to secure purchase of my vehicle and planned to return after the dinner to complete the paperwork, that they would put the car back on the lot for sales. After I caused quite a stir and made enough nod a stink the finance guy (*****) who normally doesnt do that paperwork completed my paperwork. He duped me into purchasing the extended service warranty package (so he got his commission). I was told all loan information and plates renewal would be mailed to me Flash forward to now: I still have not received any bank information to make my payments and nothing from the ****** DMV. I have also called countless times to cancel my warranty package and the finance guy has yet to return any of my phone calls.Maybe his attitude of if you ignore the problem it will go away. I called Hyundai corporate and filed a complaint while also seeking assistance but they only refer me to the dealership. When asked them what happens when staff doesnt return your phone calls, they said keep trying. If I wasnt in a bind at the time, I would have walked. This dealership has completely turned me off to buying any future Hyundai cars. Do NOT buy from them and do NOT buy the warranty package!

      DISASTER NOW THAT DEALERSHIP HAS CHANGED OWNERSHIP! We purchased 2 top trim level SUVs from Arapahoe Hyundai in early 2021 and received wonderful customer svc and great deals from *************************. Everything was wonderful & 1 SUV had included service. They said they needed to service my Santa Fe every ***** miles since it is severe driving conditions in CO. At 10K miles my wheels started peeling and the svc manager took pics to submit to get new wheels. (It is a known manufacturing defect that is in a class action suit filed in July 21 in CA.) Long story short, the dealership was sold to an auto group and then I was told I would be lucky to get oil changes going forward at ***** mile intervals. They ignored calls, emails, and even certified letters to the dealership asking about my wheel situation. A salesman/Drake laughed on the phone when I tried to leave yet another msg asking for anyone to call about my wheels. An Arapahoe Hyundai employee told me off the record what happened. Hyundai is forcing dealerships to spend millions to build separate facilities to sell ******* vehicles. The great Arapahoe Hyundai owners I purchased from sold out to an auto group instead of building a new ******* bldg. The employee told me the new owners changed the compensation packages for everyone and many quality employees walked right out the door. She said they have trashed all svc fm the last standards. She said the old owners paid out of their own pockets for the severe driving svc schedule at *****, but the new owners want to squeeze every dime and care nothing about svc. She said she was quitting soon herself. I confirmed this information when contacting ***************** Hyundai to schedule the covered next oil change. They confirmed they pay out of pocket for the severe driving svc interval for cars they sell. I had contacted Hyundai *** & was told for privacy reasons they have nothing to do with their warranties or helping customers. We will never buy Hyundai again.

      CAUTION-CAUTION-CAUTION (BUYER BEWARE) 1.) OWNERSHIP IS CHANGING and ARE NOT HONORING PREVIOUS CONTRACTS VOIDING $1000s (i.e. SHELL GAME) 2.) MANAGEMENT USES IGNORING THE CUSTOMER ONCE THEY GET THEIR MONEY (Watch out for Finance director referenced in multiple complaints New owners are coming in and previous agreements during buying are not being kept! My wife and I have bought 2 Hyundais through Arapaho and have serviced them. We were very pleased with their service; however on the car we bought this summer, the atmosphere changed. We bought extra coverage through their finance manager. He was very nice explaining the coverage and we trusted Arapaho Hyundai reputation on backing what the coverage meant. Unfortunately, once we tried to utilize it we found how bad the reputation has gone down over the last decade. Finance manager gave us his direct number to call; however, we are now at 20+ calls to him and 5 calls to his manager with NO response. We finally did get a response and were told the original contract and coverage is not being honored because the new owners. We paid over $1000s for something that basically is at the whim of the new owners. We have asked for a refund because the coverage is NOT what was paid for due to change of ownership. Unfortunately, no response as part of the multiple calls which gives the impression that there are multiple people just waiting to jump ship from the dealership to avoid the problem. We love Hyundai and very disappointed with this experience.

      We purchased a 2021 Palisade In June from Arapahoe Hyundai, finance director ********************* told us that we should purchase the Risktheory total protection package in case we need a new windshield or we need to remove some scuffs or dents ( we bought the white car). **** also told us he has a customer who is on his 5th windshield because Palisade's windshields are bad and get damaged pretty easy, also there is no limit on how many claims you can file. In August we travel to the mountains and a small pebble hit our windshield we notice a small 3-inch crack on our windshield, I called Risktheory total protection and was told it's not covered and we need to call Arapahoe Hyundai. Also, a guy from Risktheory total protection told me they received so many calls from customers who purchase protection plans, and he doesn't understand why the FINANCE DEPARTMENT AT THIS DEALERSHIP is giving customers false information. I've emailed and called our salesman ****** he try to help but I guess it was out of his control. **** finally answered my phone call after 1 month and promises me he will order a new windshield and it should be ready for the last week of October because it's back-ordered. I told him we are leaving for a vacation at the end of October and will be back in November, **** said no worries when you back call me and your windshield will be here waiting for you. Starting November 7, 2021, I left 6 messages for *********************, send him 2 emails, left messages for general manager *************************, left messages for general sales manager *********************** NUMEROUS TIMES, and have gotten no response. Today I called again to speak with the general manager ( he was very busy) so whoever pick up the phone told me that the dealership was sold on October 26, 2021, and they don't responsible for whatever happened before that day. Secretary at Arapahoe Hyundai told me I have to call Risktheory total protection package BECAUSE THEY ARE LYING, THEY HAVE TO REPLACE MY WINDSHIELD, THEY KNOW COMPANY ( DEALERSHIP) WHERE I PURCHASE MY CAR IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS). I'm beyond frustrated at this point, I will file a complaint with ******** ********************** maybe this will help somehow. Do not buy any protection plan thru this dealership it's not worth your time and money!
