This business is not helpful when in need. With the passing of hurricane *** it was extremely disastrous and when I thought I was covered because I have flood insurance I later found out that in reality I was hardly covered. To help with he financial burden hurricane *** left, this company has not done well in assisting to relieve the financial burden. It was very difficult to be able to talk to anyone from the company, especially because they had people from a third party company who would take care of claims.

In your complaint you mentioned that Superior Flood did not help with your financial burden that Hurricane *** caused. Your claim paid out $22,146.67 to date and you have recoverable depreciation for amount of $2,853.33 available as well. The policy you purchased only included $2,000 coverage for personal property and you had the opportunity through your agent, *************************, to purchase more coverage. The policy also had basement coverage limited to $20,000 maximum which was disclosed to you by your agent, ************************* when you purchased this policy. Superior Flood uses third-party independent adjusters to be fair and non-biased to the insureds by providing objectivity and greater fairness to those filing a claim. If you feel that you are owed more compensation, please reach out to your adjuster with your concerns and receipts to see if this something that might have not been included in the original report.
