    Hello,I bought a 707 sq. ft condo with no air conditioning a few years ago. I called Mountain Breeze Heating and Air beginning of July 2022 to get a quote for central air and they had someone named ***** come out, who quoted me $12K, which was a ridiculous high amount for my small condo. During the visit, ***** spent about ***** minutes looking at the furnace and my thermostat. After he left, I noticed the thermostat, hanging by wires off the wall. I thought it was a safety is*** so I called immediately and ***** said it wasn't an is***. The thermostat was securely attached to the wall before he came. It was like pulling teeth to get ***** to come back out to fix this. He finally came out and after he left, I noticed the thermostat loose and cockeyed on the wall. I contacted him again and I was losing patience. I did threaten to file a complaint and *** him if necessary. Finally, after several texts to me that he is no longer interested in doing business with me and that I wasn't a paying customer, he came back out, only because My Dad, who originally gave me Mountain Breeze number and a friend/witness, called Mountain Breeze. Because of his unprofessionalism and incompetency and ridiculous quote , I definitely didn't want to be a customer. ***** came back out and he had told my Dad he was scared to come back out since I was mad(oh brother) so it was awkward. He left in a hurry and after he left, (he secured the thermostat to the wall, FINALLY). I tested the thermostat and NOW the HEAT wasn't working. Everything was working properly before ***** came out. I contacted ***** and asked if he thought the problem was the thermostat or ******* and he said furnace and my dad asked him the same thing and he told my Dad, the problem was the thermostat. ***** is incompetent and now I have to pay another company to fix ***** screwup. I am in the process of finding a company to come out. I would like to be reimbursed by ***** and Mountain Breeze. This took the whole summer.

    Last week I called Mountain Breeze for an estimate to install a new AC and Furnace, along with 4 other local contractors. I was able to schedule all of my estimates on Monday and Tuesday of this week except for Mountain Breeze, which had no openings until Friday. By Wednesday evening we had made our decision, so Thursday morning I called to cancel the appointment with Mountain Breeze. I left a message with my name and phone number. Today, a "technician" showed up at 3:00. When I explained that I had cancelled my appointment the day before, he became enraged, calling me a liar, saying that I didn't cancel, and that I was a "******* ****". If indeed this man is truly the owner, I am sorry for his employees. I will NEVER do business with a person like this for any reason. I tried to give them no stars, but this site will not allow me to. Very unprofessional.

    ******, first please let me extend a sincere apology that you had such a negative experience with our company. Customer service is at the forefront of our business objective and in this incident, we did not deliver the level of quality service that has brought our company success for nearly 15 years. We did not find record of your voicemail message to cancel your appointment however we have come to realize that this was an issue with our phone system and we take responsibility for that. We must apologize too, for the fact that this situation could have been avoided if the message would have been received on our end. While we cannot change what happened, our company can learn from your feedback and we take this as a very valuable tool to ensure that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

    I appreciate your apology, and also the recognition that the problem was with your phone system. However, there is NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER for being treated as I was by the technician who came to my house. At the very least, this person should be disciplined. Optimally, he should be fired for unacceptable behavior.
