            After the ******** Fire, my landlord broke our lease and gave us 2 weeks to vacate as the premises was deemed uninhabitable due to smoke damage. Allstate sent Frsteam to pack out our belongings. Allstate recommended that I do not throw anything out on my own, but let everything go to Frsteam so that they could mark it as non-salvage officially and I could receive compensation. This is after I had already thrown out all food, personal items, medicine, pillows, etc. I was in an extremely vulnerable place, as I am single mom to a special needs child and my only family in the area, mother, was undergoing brain surgery the same week. During the pack out, I even tried to separate everything that I knew had to been tossed, like kitchen plastics. In May, I learned that Allstate paid the invoice in full. Then I saw the invoice after the fact. I started getting my items back in June. 1) Several items (some very important to me) were missing. Some were eventually found and the rest I was compensated for last month. 2) They did not non-salvage anything. Everything came back as "cleaned". This includes things like open packs of printer paper, all kitchen plastics, christmas lights (which frsteam had specifically told me they automatically non-salvage, I remember having that conversation with them), disposable shop towels from the garage, medications and face lotion (that had gone to them in error). All came back as "clean", which is impossible. Those are only a few examples. I pushed back to Allstate a lot, sent them multiple pictures, and was told again and again the their "good hands" team was looking into it. It has now been over a year and I am sure nothing will ever happen on their end. Frsteam got over $22k from allstate for my items, most of which I had to throw out anyway and clean the rest myself (one dish came back with peanut butter still on it). My renters policy was only for $27k (CRDN took the rest, will be a separate complaint).

            This company is the worst. They gave me a two hour window and then showed up and hour after that. Their truck was too small for all of my possessions, they had no tools or a hand cart. They said they would be back at 9am the next day and showed up at 10:30 to get the rest of my belongings. One of the last things they packed was my paper shredder. When it was time to return my items, they couldn't accommodate my request for Friday, the soonest they could do was between 9 and 10am on Monday. I traded my vacation days, worked Friday and took Monday off instead. At 9:10 Monday morning, I got a message saying that they had people call in and they needed to reschedule. When I explained I took a vacation day, they said they would have to have office staff do it then and they would be later because they hadn't even loaded the truck yet. When they showed up with my stuff, they were missing my leather sofa, three area rugs, my laptop that they were supposed to clean and a paper shredder. I had to take the next morning off to be home to get the missing items. Everything was returned except one area rug and my paper shredder. I received an email from one of the people there saying in his personal opinion, they never took a shredder. It took ten days and a follow up email to get my rug returned. Still no shredder. I have two lamp shades that are ruined, I had one leg snapped off an antique table and another leg is severely cracked. I have a dent in the base of my fan that looks like they dropped the couch on it. They scrapped one of the legs off an entertainment center and pulled off part of the trim. They put the broken pieces inside it and neglected to tell me about it. And through it all I was consistently treated like an imposition and an unreasonable person. This company overpromises and then gaslights you into thinking it was your fault they couldn't do their job or be on time. The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Still out a shredder.
