I told cornerstone apartment agent **** that I wanted to move from a studio to a one-bedroom and he said the fee would be one month's rent if I move within the same building. And then told him I would be moving to one of their other properties and ask if it would still be the same fee. He conveniently misunderstood my question yet again so I asked him AGAIN! He replied to me that I still would be breaking the lease so I'm thinking the fee is still the same whether I stay in the building or I go to another building.Now they're requesting that I pay two times the rent which is $2,490 and sent me an email stating that if I don't pay it by tonight they will send my case to their attorneys.Review from Jessia K

I have lived in my apartment for 5 years and not once did I have to pay utilities. Now we switched over to Cornerstone and my rent went up $200 and now I am paying almost $100 in utilities. I have never had to pay for utilities. It's complete c*** that we get a new company and everything goes to c*** We have gone through 3 landlord in 6 months, the apartment halls smell like cat ****, and the property looks like a mess. There is no order and for the apartment. I was told I am paying $963 but its actually over $1000. I'm barely making enough as is.Review from Malcolm L

Disgusting company. I am paying almost $1500 a month for an old basement apartment in City Park Court, with no full-sized windows, no control over the heat in the winter, and no A/C. The apartment has swarms of ants coming in through the walls, mice infestations, and spiders everywhere. The sink spews out black, foul smelling gunk from the apartments above us. No parking. Slum lord owners. Do not rent through Cornerstone.
