We ordered a dress from PromGirl and the following was our experience. The Dre’s was a “final sale,” which I understand means no return but you will see that there were major problems. While the dress is beautiful, the sizing chart provided is wrong. We measured and purchased using the sizing chart listed with the dress. The bust measurement was 32 inches. When the dress came, it didn't fit. On further inspection we realized that it measured at 26 inches, a full 6 inches difference. When I reached out to the company, I was told that since it was a final sale, there was nothing that could be done. I asked again for a reconsideration and was told, "You must consider your body type and the style of the dress; the size chart is merely a guide to assist you in selecting the size that is best for you." I am beyond disappointed in the customer service we have received and will not be buying from PromGirl again, For anyone planning to buy a dress here, I wouldn't count on the size chart that is "dress specific." The fact that I sent pictures, emailed, and called and still have no resolution is beyond disappointing. I have also tried to leave reviews on the website and they continue to be taken down.

I purchased a dress that was actually larger than my regular size and, when received, fit terribly and looked like a bad Halloween costume. I returned it within their strict return rules timeframe, and then waited nearly a month after they received the dress to get my refund. No reputable company holds a consumer's money for that long in this digital banking age. If they're that desperate maybe they should be out of business.

Promgirl has filed for bankrupcy, but is still doing business as Promgirl with the same labels & designs. They would only give me store credit for a return due to a cancelled event at the onset of the pandemic even though my purchase was still within the 30 day return policy. Now as our event was rescheduled they will not honor the $358.75 store credit. Do consumers have any protection to recoop this expense or is it just the same story of the rich get richer & poor get poorer???
