Compunet has not been updating the MyLabs portal with my test results since 2020. I have requested help through the link multiple times. And even though they promise a response within 72 hours they have NEVER responded. I then called them. I was promised they would call me back. NOPE! I emailed the President of the company....CRICKETS I call and leave a voicemail. Still NOTHING. It appears that Compunet's piss poor customer service starts at the top and has percolated down to the complete lack of care at the customer facing level. All I want them to do is update my records on the portal that they created. This should be the simplest of requests. They don't even need to respond to me. Just update it. But they are completely unresponsive, and it is insulting and extremely frustrating.Review from Lalit G

I went to my cardiologist with Premier Health yesterday and he could not pull my blood report from the compunet. It is so frustrating that I have to go for another appointment to review the blood report results. When I gave the blood I signed a release document to sent me the result through email, which I never received. I tried through today Mylab website but do not see any results on my account. I waste too much time to remember the password and user name for using this website only few times in a year. I will not use compunet for blood draw next time, if I can find another lab.Review from Lisa R

I had set up a payment plan but when nothing was taken out of my bank account the following month, I called to find out what happened. I was told the person that needed to help me was busy. So I called back a few days later. Same response. Next thing I know, I get a collections notice. When I tried to talk to someone at Compunet about it, the person I needed to talk to was always busy. Compunet did not honor the payment arrangement and just sent it off to collections. I tried emailing to no avail. If I can help it, I will never use Compunet again.Review from George W

Terrible service, by unfriendly people. Went to Springboro location 5/27/21 Appx Noon. Wait time wasn't bad, Called back to room where 2 employees were. One seated, with back to me talking to me, however didn't turn around. Other one was to draw my labs. I am usually told I am an easy stick, this person seemed to be in the correct area, and acted like the vein was there, and waiting. Attempt without hitting vein. Once in my arm, a few PAINFUL attempts to reposition the needle. I have been told many times this is something not to be done, as more harm than good can be done by moving the needle, and not knowing where the vein is located. I asked for the needle to be removed, more probing, so I asked louder. That made me a bad person. Other person finally turned around, got up and started blaming me for not being able to provide blood. The problem clearly was on my part. The fact that the needle never went into my vein didn't play well. Onward to my other arm, 2 more not so painful sticks, but still with the sweeping around attempting to find the vein. End result, is 3 holes, no blood drawn. all the while employee #2 with an ongoing list of reasons why I am not able to provide blood. #2 wanted to start in my hands, which I find very painful. I declined, and said I would go elsewhere. I did ask for employee #2's name, and was told no. I give you my name, so you can go reporting on me, huh.... i did go directly to the Kettering Health network site down the street, where I was stuck one time, and all the tubes rapidly filled. This isn't for any attempt to get anything. It is just to advise fellow Human Beings of my experience at Compunet lab Springboro Ohio.CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, LLC Response

Please accept our sincere apology for the poor experience you had at our Springboro patient service center.
It is never our intent to hurt a patient or send them away without providing the service needed. Unfortunately, there are times when even experienced phlebotomists cannot successfully complete the venipuncture. Inquiring about hydration status should never come across as blaming the patient for our inability to obtain a specimen, even though it can play a part.
You, as a patient, have the right to ask the needle be removed and the right to refuse additional requests for venipuncture. It is our policy to remove the needle as soon as requested. CompuNet's phlebotomists are required to introduce themselves before the collection begins.
While this location enjoys high customer satisfaction ratings overall, we do take all complaints about service seriously and thank you for your comments.Customer Response

My hydration status was borne out when another phlebotomist at a KHN location drew me in one stick, just minutes after I left your location. I didn't even have a drink on my trip over, so I would say my hydration status was already ready to go. From having labs drawn so many times I can assure you none of the 3 sticks your "experienced phlebotomists" made ever hit my rather large, and bulbous veins. That I believe is actually the saddest part of this. I can't imagine the horrors an older, actually drier person would be subjected to. My estimation is that I didn't meet any of your "experienced phlebotomists" instead I met a brand new employee, and someone who should have never been placed in a position to attempt to train her, as it was she herself who need phlebotomy training, and a crash course on human relations.
Possibly you should school your workers to recognize a persons hydration status by checking skin turgor, and oral moisture. Of course your employee's would have to look at a person to see them talking to be able to gauge their oral hydration. Or are positive indicators too hard to teach? I can tell you demanding personal medical information about what drugs a person is on to ascertain hydration is possibly not only unethical, but likely illegal. Your lab techs don't need to ask these questions, if they could just recognize basic indicators. But mostly they shouldn't be asking these questions, because they have no need for that information.
I certainly hope this review of mine will stand, so anyone taking the time to look into your enterprise in Springboro has a way to find out what they may get in a blood draw experience.CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, LLC Response
