***** ****** the owner of Custom Paving approached me about sealing my driveway. He gave me a verbal quote for the work of $500.00. I agreed to this amount and the work was done. Once completed he wrote up a paper contract and charged me $2500.00. I protested loudly he stated that his charge per gallon was $40.00, However he had given me a verbal quote of $500.00. Clearly I was Scammed. I did write him a check for $2500. The work occurred on 3/20/2023. I looked up the product used the price of the product per 4.75 gallon bucket is $23.97 he said that they used 13 buckets or 61.75 gallons, but wrote on the contract that they applied 78 gallons. This product should be applied between 70 degrees the temp at the time of the work was 35 degrees. He stated the this would be good for 7 to 10 years but the label says 3 years. I spoke with ***** and told him that a far price is based on the verbal agreement . He then offered what he referred to as senior discount of $500 off the $2500 charge. I told him that I was going to report him to the BBB and Do A stop payment for the check written, which I have done. I told him to take me to court and let a Judge decide what I owed him.
