We were at this hotel a total of four hours. The first two hours were spent unpacking all of our things, newborn, and toddler and then going to the pool. We had been driving 10 hours and were exhausted. As soon as we came back from the pool we saw what we were both sure was a bed bug. We pulled back the sheets to find extremely unclean sheets, multiple dark hairs, blood patches in the corners of the sheets. They were filthy. My husband went to the hostess immediately and asked to leave and for a refund. He spent an hour talking with her and trying to get a refund since we had barley even been in the room. She refused to let us speak to a a manager and the more my husband talked with her she got frustrated and threatened to call the cops on him because he was requesting a refund. We were met with extremely poor customer service, they offered another room but because of the conditions we felt it was unclean and unfit for our children and for us to sleep in. We spoke to a manager Monday who told us the room was inspected and found to be clean, despite our multiple photos showing otherwise. She then stated there were no bed bugs and since we were there a few hours the room was dirty because of us. Even though neither of us have dark hair. Her voice got muffled on the phone and I told her I couldnt understand her and she then said goodbye and hung up on me instead of resolving the issue. This is the worst hotel I have ever been in and was met with horrible customer service. We left as soon as we saw issues, and yet they charged us for an overnight stay. We gained nothing by unpacking our children and all of their things and then having to pack them back up to Leave. This was the first night of our first vacation together and it was horrific.
