We placed an order through our contractor for cabinets in the first week of June 2021 and we were assured that the lead time on our cabinets would be 6-8 weeks. We were told that we had to pay in full upfront or they would not start production, so we did. We have since learned that this is not standard business practice. Lots of other cabinet dealers has projected various lead times, and we selected Bishop because they promised the best timeframe and we trusted our contractor who has done several jobs with them before. Our order has been pushed out several times, and production has yet to begin on our order per the most recent update. We are approaching 14 weeks without a kitchen in our new home, and have no guarantee of delivery or installation timeframe. When we inquired around week 10 about the possibility to get a refund and go with another company, we were told this wasn't an option, even though production had not started on our job. We could have made an informed decision if they were honest at the onset about their production lead times rather than overpromising and not delivering. This has been incredibly distressing. I hope our order arrives soon and that the quality is sound, but I would honestly much rather have my money back and go with a company that's more honest.

Bishop Cabinets works through a dealer network based on agreed upon lead times and deliveries and cannot guarantee what a contractor tells a customer. ********************** does not deal directly with homeowners and does not take payment from the homeowner. Promised delivery times and payment issues should be directed to the contractor the customer dealt with.

I've installed two custom kitchens and this was a complete mess. Disappointed with the quality especially the paint and finishes, I can see right though to the wood.
Cabinet doors you can see joints on some and not on others. Was told these were all wood, I can show stickers were MDF Board was used. Would not recommend using this cabinet builder. My kitchen designer told us this was great quality, I disagree.

Our dealer has been working with this consumer to address their concerns. Any and all warranty issues have been or will be addressed as per our standard warranty through our dealer. Homeowners should wait until the jobs are installed and completed by the installers, every kitchen will need some touch up and repair due to the nature of shipping and handling of finished wood products.
