This app is false advertisement. The way they created it makes you think it's something other than what it is. I paid full price and they would not issue me a full refund. I was very unhappy with the service. The app is very slow. Customer service takes 48 hours to respond to any request. I would not recommend using this app.Review from Tracy S

I have used this car service twice so far and have two more trips booked. They have been fantastic both times. Prompt, professional and caring. A driver named Angel was our most recent driver and was sent to pick up a friend from Miami airport. He was so communicative with me every step of the way, letting me know when he had her in the airport as well as when she was safely at home. I highly recommend this service and have already recommended to friends.LUXY Response

Shame on my for not doing my research on this company and shame on them for their poor service. FYI to all, they’re a booking site and contract drivers to perform the services, so if something happens to a driver’s car, you’re left in the dust. I booked through Luxy for an event that I knew would be impossible to get an **** through and wanted to ensure my sister and I get back to our destination safely in a place where we are not locals. This was booked back in November or December, we are now 4 days away from our event and I just got a message that they’re cancelling our ride and every other car service is booked at this point. When I asked for a better resolution, they blocked my number (they were communicating via text) and said they exhausted all their options. Now I’m left scrambling to find a ride which will be next to impossible. Clearly they have no backup plans or a system as I’ve seen other reviews mention cancellations multiple times. Do yourself a favor and never book with this company. Absolutely terrible.Review from Daniel P

Plenty of better services available. They were late picking us up (arrival 10 minutes after we already had our bags; 30 minutes past pick-up time) and didn’t provide the additional services we paid for (which was also why we chose the company in the first place). Upon letting the company know, the only response we received was a partial refund which didn’t even cover the service we did not receive. We just decided to never use the company again instead of fighting them further. Now, we realize this is common practice for this company and a regular complaint. STAY AWAY!!Review from Chad P

This company is not professional and will not reimburse us for our flight getting canceled due to low visibility in NYC. It’s not our fault your driver was on sight as he was aware of our flight situation. We never told him we were taking off and he was aware of our flight being delayed. If you are a professional ride service company you would do the right thing and refund our money. Do not trust this company for your travel plans.Review from Maryann L

DO NOT USE LUXY RIDE I REPEAT DO NOT USE LUXY RIDE! On 7/6 my husband and i were to be picked up at 4:30 am to be taken to *** for a flight to ****** - at 4:40 am the driver still didn’t show. I called the dispatcher and he said he would find out where the driver was. He calls back at 4:45 am to say the driver had a flat tire and it could 30-40 minutes or longer to get to us - i told the dispatcher this was unacceptable and we needed to get to the airport. I also asked why the driver never called me and the dispatcher also told me he wasn’t notified either. The dispatcher said they would try to get an **** ** **** but that I could also call for my own ***** Not acceptable that I have to call for my own ****. Dispatcher called back at 4:50 and stated they could get us an **** but would not be there for at least 30-40 minutes or longer. Again i said not acceptable and i needed to get there and could not wait that long . I stated that now I would have to drive which I did not want to do and I would have to pay for parking in the dispatch said that they would be willing to pay for parking and offer us other incentives. I told him I wanted to speak to someone today and if I missed my flight there would be hell to pay and he said someone would call me. I get to *** and we missed our baggage check in so we could not get on our flight. They told us we would have to come back tomorrow? because they had to reschedule us. We would have had to have another Covid test done and complete another ED card to be accepted into ******** we were extremely upset. We ended up being able to get a flight with another airline. No one from Luxt ride called me that day and when I called when I got to ***** I left a message and asked to be called no one called me???. I called **** ride on my return on 7/13. I spoke with the Craig and he said that he would send this to the review board and I would receive a call back within the next 24 to 48 hours no one called me back after 48 hours and I had to call the company I spoke with Nicole who was the customer service manager and she stated the best that they could do was offer me $50 I told her this was abominable and a slap in the face for all the aggravation that this company put us through that day and that the dispatcher said they would pay for a parking which was $252.00 And she stated he should’ve never said that but he did say that. she did say well we did refund your money as if that was a gift. they had no choice but to refund my money for a service not taken she said she would take the claim to the operations manager and they would call me back that day or the next day needless to say I never got a callback and had to call again and the best they were able to offer me was $100 credit. Because of LUXY ride?? it cost me over $1000 more because of their negligence. I will never use this company again and I’m putting this out there for you to be aware. Their negligence and lack of response and communication is abysmal. ???? I also paid $381 for this trip so for them to offer only $100 was ridiculous?.Review from Upset Groom

I contracted this company 2 weeks prior to my wedding for 2 cars. One to pick myself and my wife up a long with another car for our parents. This was to ensure we had a safe ride and could enjoy ourselves since we would need a pick up late and depending on calling a cab or ubering isn't the safe option for your big day. I put in the comments that it was for the wedding when booking. We got multiple confirmations for both cars, charged for both cars and even received multiple text messages the night before letting us know we were all set. I THOUGHT this was a professional company that was really on it. The day of pickup I received an email not even a text or a call letting me know both rides had been cancelled because of lack of availability. I am not sure how that is possible since they confirmed both cars the night before. So I assumed it was a mistake and maybe one of them cancelled but when I called they unapologetically told me no it was both of them. I said that I was paying them $300 for both rides that's 15 minutes combined. They need to figure it out, which again they said wasn't their problem and that they usually book weddings differently and I shouldn't have done it online. So no it was my fault. Terrible customer service from a terrible company. I am incredibly lucky I checked my email and will continue to share my experience as much as I possibly can to warn other people not to depend on the undependable. FYI I already emailed them and got zero response.
