These details must disclose any material limitations on the guarantee or warranty. Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request. BBB suggested that the business add the terms of its guarantee and warranties and if its policy does not include a full refund, that it consider modifying its 'satisfaction guaranteed' statements. The business did not respond to BBB or make adjustments to its advertising.
