      hsa bank is discontinuing their partnership with ******* and all access to ****** brokerage for investments are ending in September 2024. In its place, they are providing an integrated investment platform and charging users annual fees of 0.10% for Choice, 0.25% for Select and 0.35% for Managed. For the privilege of this new investment platform, which their marketing would lead you to believe, hsa bank will offer an enhanced investment experience than what is provided by Charles ******* for a premium fee. Of course, this is all garbage, and will lead to reduced choices, reduced research capabilities ( loss of access to ****** research tools), and increased fees. A lose-lose for consumers, and a big win for hsa bank owners and the bottom line.

      ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. THEY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. I opened an account and was given nothing. No temporary debut card, no checks. I tried to ***** and couldn't do that. I called customer service and they saod I have to go to the branch.. I went to the branch and they said they don't know how to do that and to call customer service or ******.. Both customer service and ***** said go into the branch. After finally getting a debit card, I activated it and it didn't work.. Still can't zelle anything .. I got home tonight and logged into my account online and it says I do not have any Bank Accounts with Webster Bank. I have 4 accounts with thousands of dollars in them and I cannot access any of it. Today my anniversary and now I cannot do a thing.

      I was discriminated against by Webster bank employees in ******* ***********. after trying to cash a check from my job which I cashed faithful every week. The employee at the bank denied my check claiming the ID which I always use a US residency ID, they claimed was unacceptable. I made a claim with corporate which they themselves admit was wrong on the employees part because they do accept US residency ID. After arguing with the manager, she came up with A bogus excuse as to why they couldn’t cash my check. I then went to my local ******** which cashed the check with no issues. It’s been weeks now, trying to follow up with corporate on the situation and they won’t answer my phone call. I was offended and disrespected by this particular Webster bank and would like to see some action taken on this matter.

      They will NOT redeem my two matured CDs, after numerous calls. Customer service is awful. I’ve tried to “Karen” the last agent by asking for her supervisor. Good luck with that. And I have two more that mature in June. A class action suit is the next step. This is a sham!

      They are keeping the procedure of my mature CD for 10 business days already at BrioDirect division, After 3 calls to them demanding the money, when at one of the call I was put on 30 minutes wait time and never got the representative back, they want me to watch the web for the email on their webpage to confirm that I still want the money, and they want to send the check in the mail instead of ACH delivery. This business is sham and fraud. It shouldn't exist. Negative rating for them.

      DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK AND BRIOBANK they held my money and unwilling to release the fund after cd matured. made three calls within 5 days to get 5the funds transferred but their reps keep lying, claiming can not verify my account after getting all my information and responding to their text message verification. now after 4 days am being told to check for a verification message on their online bank site which they never sent. scamming people, holding customer's fund without interest payment. they claim they are unable to send verification emails or text message to verify that you want your money back. legalized theft of people' funds without impunity.

      Been banking with Webster close to 20 years. Always received great service. Since recent merger all aspects of banking have tanked. I now avoid at all costs any contact with bank. Everything has become overly complex and just difficult to navigate. Takes 13 minutes just to enter all info then repeat again once associates on phone - that's w/o any hold When going into local branches seems they never can be of help to resolve account issues, just provide phone #s to call. More than one I received aren't even active or associated with the bank. time.Tech issues have become commonplace. Rather than going through 30-40 minutes verification process then not receiving any resolution now just wait till following day in hope problem solved. Already have closed all CC accounts and in process of doing same with checking and savings. First need decide on new bank. Advise banking with Webster at all costs, it's become a nightmare.

      I have been a customer of Webster Investments for almost 20 years. My investment rep. Mike Goncalves has cost me many thousands of dollars by placing a large sum of money in a R.E.I.T. which is bleeding cash and there is no way I can get out of it. I fear this investment through LPL will dwindle down to nothing. He has not returned my recent phone calls. AVOID this guy at all cost!!

      Webster/Brio will massively tie up your funds and charge you high fees for it. Once they show ACH transfers inbound clear and funds available, if you try transferring any funds out, there are additional holds placed on the originally cleared funds, as well as the transfer holds, making your available balance negative. Then transfers will fail due to lacking "available" funds, which were available at the time of transfer. Each fee for this is $35 and they do retry failed transfers without checking if the funds are currently "available". Then they will likely flag your account, request additional verification documents, and the account will be suspended for who knows how long until they get around to processing these documents. There seems to be good potential for a class action lawsuit against this bank - Brio/Webster.
