This is a very unprofessional business. They essentially lurk and patrol apartment building parking lots and tow visitor or residents cars. I had a visitor that parked in front of a visitor parking sign and they towed them without contacting us, without the apartment building contacting us, and without the police contacting us. They're cash only and will charge you $275 to get your car back. Better get there before 4pm or your out of luck. We genuinely didn't know if the car got stolen or something happened to it because again no one contacted us and they literally just ripped the car out of a parking lot that was 3/4ths empty.They essentially enjoy ripping people off. We showed up and the front desk worker was extremely unprofessional, could not answer our questions properly ot explain the process of getting your car back. We were told to find the pens near the pizza boxes to sign to get the car back was so strange there were couches in the office and someone's dog was jumping on us. The place itself is super sketchy looking, full of pot holes, is unpaved, and is not a place id visit alone. Really awful place to do business with. They're definitely out here to make a quick buck. Such a scummy place. You'd have to be a bad person to want to run a business like this. They kept no record of the towing process, didn't notify anyone involved (inlcuding the police and apartment complex) and left no paper trail as we were forced to pay in cash.Review from Nicholas G.

Dan's City Towing is a predatory extortionist company that specializes in towing or threatening to tow often perfectly legally parked vehicles, offering their drivers who treat everyone they encounter with distain, disrespect and a gleeful attitude when it comes to demanding $160 for dropping legal vehicles. The owner is reportedly currently being audited by the state revenue service for tax evasion. The drivers are never shy to threaten others and often openly carry firearms to emphasize their presumed power. I have personally on over half a dozen occasions witnessed then towing, attempting to tow it threatening to tow legally parked, registered and offered vehicles specifically for the purpose of extorting the vehicles owners. When I say they take pleasure in it, I'm not joking. They are all extremely unprofessional, predatory, abrasive and act in a way that borders on criminal. Sadly it seems this poorly rated and generally despised company has connections with the Manchester police who typically allow them to act in legally questionable ways with utter impunity. If you or your business is considering doing business with them, don't. If you already do and plan to continue doing such, I hope you feel a sense of shame for empowering and employing such genuinely wretched people.

We tow vehicles that do not follow the rules, if we tow something from private property, we have the authorization from the property owner to do so. Most properties require vehicles to be current on registrations/inspections and have a property tag DISPLAYED. Not just in a vehicle, it needs to be properly displayed. We do not have "connections" with the Manchester Police, but if we have to call them they are only there to keep the peace and have people get out or off of their vehicles. Calling them is wasting their time. Our drivers are free to carry for their own protection from aggressive people. We encourage our employees to carry as it is a FREE COUNTRY and the right to bear arms is a wonderful amendment. Keep coming up with more lies and have a great day.
