I was referred here for some hair loss due to previous medical treatment I have gone through. Due to me being African American, the doctor noted that it's due to hair extensions and ponytails. I did not wear either during that time. I called Palmetto Dermatology to complain about the doctor once I saw her notes. She tried to offer a biopsy after the fact and stated she stands on her notes. How can you diagnose me with no biopsy.? She failed to even touch me at all. This was terrible service and discrimination.

If there was a such thing as negative stars you wouldn't have gotten the 1 I've given here. I am still in shock of the treatment I received this morning from Dr. ********* I called yesterday to schedule an appointment with you because you were referred to me by several family members who see you. When making the appointment the person making the appointment and I talked about how I had been there many years ago for 1 visit but that I did not want to see that PA this time. I was told that was no problem and was scheduled to come at 830 today because you had a cancelation. I get there early and fill out all of my forms and I'm placed in room 6 relatively quickly. Keeping in mind room 6 is right beside your desk area I began to listen to you yell at your staff for having me there. You wanted my old records found, which they did and I was in 7 years ago for 1 visit. They came in and explained that there would be a delay to find my paper file because you were electronic now. They came back again after more yelling from you and told me that you refused to see me because I was a patient of someone else. I explained to them that my entire family saw you and that I felt you should honor my request to change. They left and came back again and you refused again, stating that I would have to be released by the superior of the PA who was in surgery, so that I could wait on him or leave. I again sent her back and ask her to ask you to do the right thing. You see in my career I am also in a customer service business so I know how important it is to treat people fairly. Upon asking again and again hearing you be very rude, I was told I'd have to see Dr. ****** so they went and got Dr. ***** out of surgery. Keep in mind this was over an hour later. After leaving there in tears I called my daughter was one of the people who gave me your name and she said, "I saw someone else the first time I went there too and they let me switch without a problem". shame on you!
