I spoke with a representative on the phone, confirmed my location and that they service my area. We agreed on a time and date. I was told to fill out the reservation form online, which I did. I was then instructed to pay a $50 deposit via Zelle to confirm reservation, which I did and the company confirmed they received payment. I also received an email confirmation of the reservation. The day of the move, no one showed. I called the number several times, and finally someone answered saying they would find the movers, and call me back. They never called back, movers never showed, and after several hours, no one answered phones, texts, or emails. When I went to the Zelle app to get the email used to report them as fraudulent, they had ‘removed the email’ from Zelle. I reported them through Zelle as well as my bank. Hope someone else doesn’t fall prey to their scam.

Wish I could rate them as "ZERO Stars"! On August 2, 2023~ I got "recruited" via a Humboldt CraigsList gigs post: "McKinleyville: 2 movers needed 9am sharp $30/hr minimum 4hrs.. blah blah blah..."(etc), I got to the work address on time, and waited for an hr+ before other mover shows up with customers and the trailer for us to load... The job went by pretty normal and we (myself and the other mover) lifted, carried and packed all of the large and heavy items left behind by the previous moving crew (who were lazy and/or inexperienced), and "Tetrissed" all heavy items and over 95% of the remaining smaller nicknacks into the trailer. We also helped haul and unload a smaller trailer of waste to the dump which took up another half hour, for a grand total of 6hrs=$180 at the "advertised" rate of pay for the job's completion.... The cl post also mentioned PayPal CashApp Venmo and Zelle as payment options but didn't exactly emphasize that digital currency was the ONLY available option for receiving our wages. Eshon Howard is the "CEO" (if you can call it that) said Western Union wouldn't let him send my money, so I had to open a bank account to get a couple of the recommended cash apps which took +1wk cuz I'm rural... There was some tension from him seeming to purposefully delay paying me, which now looks like he was just setting up his opportunity to act like I don't deserve payment because I shamed or annoyed "little Ms. Manners", I mean Howard over there in Cleveland. Got my cash apps activated, and now all he wants to do is act like a chump who's afraid to answer the phone and talk to me- since about the last 10 days or so ago... His profile claims millionaire status, but that seems highly unlikely in the context of his inability to pay his employees in an accessible and/or timely manner. He only owes me $180, but apparently his Character isn't even worth THAT MUCH to Him. But I get it, I worked my butt off~ while he just sits around, out of touch with it all.....

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE experience with this bunch of WannaBees last week. I had booked a time slot, Paid the deposit, and called early morning to confirm they would arrive during my time slot. They said "Yes" but never, never showed up. And then went Silent on the phone. NO help, NO apology, NO explanation, NOTHING........ Just a Bad, Bad Joke. Moving is stressful enough already without being abused by a bunch of Losers like this. Please do yourself a favor and find a firm that Shows up and helps you get moved. This terrible experience was in the Harrisonburg, Virginia locale. Do NOT use. They will leave you swinging and then your calls go directly to Voicemail. Spare yourself the Drama, and look elsewhere for moving help.

This bs “company” deserves a big fat azz 0 stars! I knew I should’ve kept scrolling. Hard Body Haulers is the worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with! They’re scammers who promptly deducted the $50 deposit fee from my bank but never moved 1 piece of furniture. When I told them to refund my $50 they said they did already which was a fat lie because I was on the phone with my bank. My bank said they didn’t even see a pending refund so I submitted a fraudulent transaction claim. DO NOT ALLOW THIS BS COMPANY TO MOVE YOU!!
