Add my one-star review to the massive pile. Sent Marc an item for repair along with payment up front. He estimated 19 weeks to complete the repair. Seven months later, I have not received the item and Marc is not responding to phone calls or emails.

I sent Zwarorsky Items to Bruening Glass for repair in June 2023. A bear, a seal and an oyster - all sentimental items to my family. Money was charged but no items were sent back repaired. What do I have to do to receive my items whether they are repaired or not? Any suggestions??

This buisness does not respond to mailing back item. He has stated for six weeks he will send out end o f the week.it is never sent. The last call he said it was going that day. Have not got yet. I prepaid $ 350.00 six months a go.He said it would take 12 weeks Now 25 weeks. I have never heard of this insanity.

This company is the worst company I have ever done business with. The owner is a liar and steals your expensive Waterford and other pieces. For over 7 yrs he has promised to repair and send back my $900 crystal bowl. Do your self a favor don’t utilize this service. He is a thief and will never repair or return Your glassware. He should be in jail for stealing our priceless heirloom estate items handed down from those who have passed on.

7/10/2019 - almost 3 years ago- I spoke with Mark about repairing a large Swarovski crystal Pineapple that the "leaves" fell off, not broken. I had all of the intact crystals. He explained that you cannot use glue, that he repairs with melted glass, it would take 3 months, etc. and quoted $120 to $220 and gave me instructions to mail it to him. 7/25/19 he took $425 out of my credit card & the card company would not reverse the charges since I had given him the card number. For over 2 years I contacted Marc any way that I could & begged for the return of my pineapple with no repairs, but he would never respond. I then filed a complaint on 11/18/21 with the Office of Ohio Attorney Investigator, Consumer Protection Section and they have been working on my case for 7 months. Marc returned my pineapple, with the leaves "glued" back on incorrectly, and the top half was in pieces in the packaging. Marc wanted me to return it for further repairs but I refused after being scammed for almost 3 years!! I wanted my money back but Marc agreed to send me a check for a partial refund of $200, and the Attorney General Investigator is aware of Marc response & has been following up for the $200 to no avail. Meanwhile I took the pineapple to a Swarovski Dealer who was appalled that Marc used glue & devalued the piece by thousands of dollars & made it unable to be repaired. My three year anniversary with this crook is coming up & he simply ignores the Attorney General Investigator & my pleas.

I sent Bruening a piece of stemware after trading several emails with Marc. He said he could fix the the broken foot for $110 charged to my credit card in about 6-8 weeks. After 3 months I started calling and emailing, never getting a response. It took 11 months to finally get my piece returned. And when I got it the broken foot was just super glued on, and not very nicely done at that. I wish I had looked at the BBB reviews before I had done business with this company.

I sent in an antique hand mirror for repair in October 2021 with $150 payment. I've not heard anything back and received no Reponses to my requests for a return or my mirror or payment. This guy is a dishonest internet fraud. DO NOT do any business with him

Excellent workmanship! My crystal glass fruit bowl was broken on the pedestal. It was repaired perfectly. It took longer than expected, but I’m very happy with the results. It was restored to like new condition.

I contacted Bruening Glassworks by phone in November 2021 to determine if 2 venetian goblets that were both broken could be repaired. Mark took my call and said it could be repaired for $75 and would be finished in March 2022. He sent shipping instructions via email within one day. I shipped the goblets November 13, 2021. I have both phoned and emailed twice in March and April 2022 and their voicemail inbox is full. I emailed Mark and have yet to receive any response from them. I want my goblets and money returned to me repaired or not. Please Help - * ******

I’m sorry I didn’t find another company to repair my ill 79 year old sister’s Waterford lamp as a gift. Mark received it in early Oct and said he’d try to repair it by Christmas. He returned my follow up call once but acknowledged no other follow up calls. It’s now the end of January and no communication and no lamp so far. Very disappointed in lack of communication. I would not recommend using this company. If I had checked the BBB reviews I would have done things differently.
