If you can avoid sending your loved ones here, do it!!!!! My mom just got out of this hospital after a week. Every day I spoke with her, she was afraid to talk about things she was experiencing if the staff was within ear shot of her. She said they allowed men to wander into women's rooms and she would wake to a strange man sitting on her bed watching her. She was afraid to express any emotions for fear they would hold her longer. They are mandated to hold group therapy which they didn't and there was nothing for patients to do during the day. The communication between the staff was awful and there was a lot of confusion with her care. They missed giving doses of medication she was on. The staff would make fun of the patients and laugh at them. These are just some issues she could express to me. She said this doesn't even scratch the surface of all of the other awful things that occurred while being there. This is why mental health is such a problem in our society because people who need these services can't get the proper care for them to get well. I will be filing a complaint with the *************.
