            In March 2024, BBB investigated Laz Parking's business practices. The business has complaints alleging to have been over charged while using the lot, LAZ parking App, or the machine on the premises. Consumers state that they received collection notices from Parking Revenue Recovery Services indicating they owed between $80-$92 due to non-payment when the consumer has proof of payment.

            On 3/2/2024, 3/25/2024 and 3/29/2024 BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. As of April 5th, 2024 BBB has had no response.

              I received a parking notice (#*************) dated 03/06/2024 almost a full month after the date I used the lot on 02/09/2024, so I no longer had my parking receipt to verify or dispute the claim. It stated I owed $92 fee for the penalty - - exorbitant! Additionally, the notice did not include any information about what the lot's penalty guidelines are or when my time expired compared to when it claimed my car left. I reached out to dispute the claim and was told I could pay $72, still without any additional information about the signage or how long my ticket had expired. I asked again and only received the time expired (less than 40 minutes). I typically park in this lot for events at the ******* (which I was there for that evening) and there is a flat event fee, but that must not have been in place that evening - it was not clear.

              Absolutely horrific business and parking lot to deal with. It is physically stated in multiple spots on their lot at 705 Sycamore St. that it is '$12 for daily parking until 4am next day'. But, to your surprise, after you paid the $12, you will receive a letter in the mail 2 weeks later for an 'overage violation' that will charge you 8x the daily rate. LAZ parking hires PRRS to deal with their dirty work, PRRS and LAZ are NOT on the same page about their daily rates. Do NOT do business with LAZ. Shame on LAZ.
