    Had been going there for about 5 years. Yesterday, September 2, was the last day. Had a cut from my stylist on August 27. As I got older my hair became curlier. She cut it so that I could wear it curly or straight.. On August 27, she cut it more for he straight look, but I presumed I could still wear it either way as I hadn't really liked the straight look as well and she didn't ask me on August 27 which I preferred. Didn't like the style at all so I washed it tried to style it curly. Bottom of hair was too blunt and the layers were longer than normal. She said this was because I wanted to still be able to pull it back. That is true. About two days after the cut I called and explained to the receptionist that I needed it repaired as the bottom was too blunt fir my now curlier-than-ever hair. I might have had a redo once before in the five years. I had a short wait and was conversing with a client and the receptionist when she called me. I turned to say thanks and goodbye to the ladies I was talking to. Stylist was angry, irritated, and scolding, telling me she wished she wasn't on a tight schedule but she was. "Sit down and tell me what you want so I don't have to guess." "It's too blunt at the bottom for the curly cut." I was hoping she would regain her professionalism -- and remember that I unfailingly tipped her 30% and right after the pandemic paid her an even more generous tip -- that I was always on time, highly appreciative, but sometimes had to wait in my car for her to appear for my early morning appointment -- or else in the reception area -- and never complained -- I WAS HOPING THAT SHE WOULD UNDERSTAND HOW MY TIME IS AS VALUABLE TO ME AS HERS IS TO HER!!!!! But that didn't happen. I picked up my handbag and said, "You don't have to do anything." "Really," she asked. Really, I said and walked out in tears. Found another stylist near by. I could see this coming. But it was easier to stay put than move on.
