      Business doesn't know building codes. Improper installation of handrail. After 2 months they have not returned to fix the problem as promised and will not respond to my messages. Beware

      The owner ordered and installed a custom sized storm door in Oct 2019 that was an inch too small I told him the original door was a standard size purchased from a big box store, but he insisted i needed a custom size and since he was the pro I took his recommendation. The door cost me extra and as not closed properly from day 1. When temps are lower it shuts but pops open and does not stay latched. When temps are warm it never shuts. I have tried for 2 years to get him to fix it. He used the ***** excuse for mostl of 2020. Then in 2021 he promised to send someone multiple times and no one showed up. The ONE time someone did show (this past summer) it was at the end of the day and when he realized it was not going to be an easy fix he said he'd come back another time. That never happened. The owner gives excuse after excuse. Once he has your money he is not interested in fixing sloppy work. He's always "SUPER busy" which means he doesn't want to spend time fixing things when he can make more money. STAY FAR AWAY from this business.

      Hello .. Thanks so much for the review.. we do take these very serious and appreciate the feedback. This is a situation where there is a storm door that is very exposed to sudden changes in temperature.. it leads from inside the garage into the home.. the old door was not the right size.. it was way to big and dragging and not shutting.. we put a smaller door in and have been back 3 times to adjust door.. it works fine when we leave.. we understand the frustration of products being temperamental within changing temperatures... this is one.. now the company has suffered through the pandemic and also a loss of labor.. this puts me the owner in charge of everything.. I wish it was just getting up and going to work.. unfortunately it isn't that.. I run the jobs best I can for the times we are in. We always respond and we always try to help.. I am sorry I can't get to you faster.. I can understand the situation with the door that can be slightly aggravating.. but believe me when I tell you it is very busy and there is no labor to be had... We will strive better to meet service expectations.. but again with the atmosphere of the times we live in.. I am doing the best I can. Thanks again for your feedback and so glad to hear you haven't been affected too greatly by this pandemic.... God bless.

      We spent a total of $1425 for you to 1) order and install a new storm door between my family room and garage, 2) install a shower door that we had already purchased from a big box store, 3) order and install a new exterior door in my kitchen, 4) remove old rotted wood at base of the jambs on my exterior basement door and replace it with new **************** then wrap the door jamb with smooth white coil, and 5) replace the weather stripping on my garage door. We've had issues with 4 of those 5 jobs. Yes, this storm door is inside my home, so please tell me about the "sudden" changes in temperature?? It's INSIDE my house!!! How "sudden" can they be??? And why would temperature variations make that much difference IF the door was installed properly? We are talking about an average of ***** degrees difference (if that) plus summer humidity. This door is manufactured to be exposed to harsh temps and extreme weather -- hence the name "storm" door. I don't have storms inside my garage or basement or sudden extreme temperature changes! When a door is an inch too small it gets looser and looser over time with each opening and closing. SMALL changes in temps plus humidity will make a difference! This is a quality door that was the wrong size and installed improperly. In addition, I also have an insulated garage door and a heating vent into my garage. The temperature in my garage is closer to our home's interior temperature than any house I've ever been in. Last year we underwent a major home renovation where my living room, dining room and kitchen were unusable from October to February. Our living room furniture was set up in my garage and I spent most every night in the garage watching TV. At worst, the overnight average temperature in my garage reaches 50 degrees on the coldest of days. I know that because my car tells me the temp when it's parked inside. Your characterization of my old door is completely false! There was weather stripping on the bottom but it did NOT drag and it CLOSED just fine. It was old and the screen was torn up and unusable. You were hired to complete multiple jobs and we decided to replace it with a quality door that had a self-storing screen. In addition, your men did NOT come back 3 times. They did came back in December of 2019, less than 2 month after install, because the storm door would not latch and stay closed and could easily be pushed open by a pet or small child. At that visit your men placed a shim under the latch plate and also slopped a glob of caulking on the guide plate on my tub because the shower doors kept coming off the tracks. The shim worked for a few months, but because the door is an inch too small the more it opened and closed this simple fix didn't work anymore, I wish I could upload the video I sent you on the day of install that showed the inch-wide gap between the wood framing and the door for everyone to see and know that I am being 100% truthful. Also, what's your excuse for your men simply covering up the rotten wood at the base of my exterior basement door? It was never replaced with composite wood. And when I ask you to come inspect the shoddy work you blew me off. We also recently discovered that the new exterior door installed in our kitchen doesn't always lock. Only the dead bolt provides security. If the dead bolt is not engaged the door can be easily pushed /pulled open despite the door handle being locked.The second time you had someone come was this past July - approximately 20 months after the first return visit. He didn't stay long and didn't really inspect much of anything. On that day the humidity was lower and the door closed ok --- while he was here. He never inspected the latch. I asked about the rotten wood that was never replaced on the exterior basement door. He said he didn't realize they were supposed to replace it. He admitted they just covered it up. It was 5pm and he was not interested in working late. He said he'd come back when the door wasn't closing properly and fix both. He gave me his personal cell number and said for me to call him for a faster response. I called him shortly after that to find out he left your employment...and then I contacted you and you never responded...except to my review on the BBB website.You are good with excuses but not so much good with quality work, or customer service, or fixing your mistakes. You are certainly not very good on Integrity. Blame the customer?? Yes, you are good at that. As long as the fix is quick and cheap you might be willing do it. But when I have video proof that the door is the wrong size, how do you fix that quickly? You'd rather take new jobs and new money. I've already paid you. You'll not get any more money from me and my fix is not a quick or easy one so why put men to work on something that brings in no new dollars. It's been 2 years since install and still all you have is excuses. I let this go on way too long due to COVID. You've milked that excuse dry. People, if you read this review, please read some of the others as well. You'll see similar complaints. Stay far far away from this company.

      Almost a year of back and forth, lies and flat out deception. Signed a contract in Sep 2020 and took until almost June 2021 to resolve. Finally got my deposit back after several failures to show to install a door. It appears Im not the only one based on more recent reviews. I question if he ever had the door at all (and no, ******* wasnt the issue). *** kept all written emails and texts documenting the incident. Not worth my time to pursue legal recourse for missed work and time due to dealing with this, but certainly want to let others know.

Seems to be you have forgotten about COVID-19 and the whole shut down of businesses and the reopening of businesses just this year and some businesses didn't survive after dealing with COVID-19for over 2 1/2 yrs (let's not forget this), well we are one of those businesses who have been trying to stay afloat after this whole pandemic event.. the review clearly states that we stayed in contact and also refunded your money as we struggle through just getting back on our feet.. please keep in mind we have no labor force just due to all the free money handed out for people.. this has been an issue all over the United States.. not just our company.. it has become a major crisis and is even happening to other businesses. We wish things had gone differently and as far as the materials go.. there is a terrible shortage of materials and terrible shortage of logistics in getting materials even shipped out. So we appreciate the feed back and hope that you have a special day and hope your navigation back to normal is a speedy one. P.S. Polaris is so bad off that they no longer make doors due to no staff. They also will be moving their window factory to another building in this area just to save money... !

      Several no shows after stating you had a door and weeks of no response is on you, not the pandemic (ps...seems you can’t count as 2 1/2 years isn’t accurate). I gave you plenty of chances to right it. The door was in stock at **** *****, in February you supposedly picked it up after I said let’s not wait on Polaris. You scheduled two dates and didn’t show on either to put the door in. This is why I asked for a refund which took several more weeks. I was more than accommodating as I’ve been fortunate to not be impacted by the pandemic, and I’m as understanding as someone can be. At the end of the day, the no shows is why this review is here. You also failed to completely fix my moms door which was pre-pandemic. I think your response says enough about the lack of accountability and the ethical standard you hold yourself to.       ***** did an exterior door for us 6mo ago. Door isn't installed properly. He sent a guy over, after a few weeks, who proceeded to put extra screws through the door. We have a door that wont close unless you really force it, and deadbolt doesnt even greet the hole for bolt anymore. The top of door hits frame, while the bottom is a huge gap. I assume it wasnt shimmed to begin with, but we cant even get the owner to stand behind his 5yr guarantee because he wont reply, nor has he come over. Hes quick to get your money, then no service. Its been months and months, hes not in this for the customer at all. "

      Thank you so much for your winded complaint. Well... I didn't want to go this route, but here goes.. 1st off the door in question was a damaged show room door.. priced cheap to sell as the door had defects and the homeowner was made aware and was already aware and bragged about the pricing for his cheap box store door, but that's not why we won't go back for service..this homeowner is a real bad drunk, very rude, very aggressive and will cuss you like that's their only language. We will never go back to service this door as we do not and will not be subjected to this situation again, nor will I put anyone in this situation. To those reading this.. if you are a contractor and can view the homeowners name... ley this be a warning to you. The guy is violent and has a major drinking problem. I so didn't want to leave this response, but truth be told and here we are. We will never go back.

      Wow!!! I haven’t read so many lies in one paragraph before. Firstly, the door was ordered, not a showroom floor. It took me 6 weeks to get. There was no damage, nor was there bragging that I got it for so cheap, since I paid regular price for it. The only problem with the door was the weather stripping needed to be adjusted, and the so called installers. There was only cussing after so many messages and calls being ignored for months at a time, which I apologized for. To call me a violent alcoholic is slanderous and untrue. This guy knew he would have to do the job again, and is making things up about the door and myself to escape fact. I’m sure he hated to “go there” since it’s all lies. When his assistant came to put the screws in the door, he had alcohol on his breath, and literally finished his 24oz beer in my driveway, maybe he should reflect on that. He told me to call him instead of the owner if I had any issues, since he said the owner will never come to take care of any problems. I decided against that, Unfortunately his helper was correct. I put this in BBB because I don’t want anyone else to get conned by inferior workmanship lies and insults. Funny how someone can make up all these lies, after only 2hrs here. I guess it really took him 6months to make it up. Bottom line, there was no violence, no threats and no unending cursing. There is, however, a door to my exterior that isn’t installed properly. A door that has NO damage, and a company too lazy to take care of their faulty work. This guy should be ashamed, but I’m sure this is business as usual to him. I should’ve checked more to see all the other poor reviews. I should’ve figured I was on my own after the install, when he told me his hands shake so bad because of all the LSD he took in the past. What a poor liar!!! Do not use for anything, unless you like to gamble.
