            We have been highly disappointed with S&S Builders and the owner Brian Sc***** for his lack of commitment and responsiveness, especially since he was recommended by a neighbor. Despite signing an agreement and paying $500 for a basement design, we have yet to receive any progress after seven months. When we signed in December, we were assured we were next on his project list, with construction expected to begin shortly thereafter. We gave him our budget and he said he could find ways to value engineer to achieve it. Brian became unresponsive, prompting us to seek recommendations on our neighborhood ******** page. amazingly he was again recommended. We shared our experience with the group and as a result, he terminated our agreement, refunded only $200, and failed to deliver a final design. If this is indicative of S&S Builders performance during the design phase, we are concerned about S&S reliability during construction. Communication has been sporadic, with weeks passing without any response. I highly recommend not using this business.
