I cannot recommend this company due to their business practices in 2020. I am out $181.95 for what the Animal Remover website baits as "Call for a free quote." The "free" quote was for the senior discounted $181.95 charge to quote my job. A representative came for the inspection and sent a quote through their J***** *oftware. He was accommodating but not thorough. He respected the health department pandemic guidance for social distance, and masking. In the ****** software I paid the 20% deposit of $244.72 and signed and initialed a contract which stated: “The remaining 80%...must be paid in full on the first scheduled day before Animal Removers leaves the property.” Upon arrival for the job the lead worker insisted that I read, touch, and sign a dirty looking pad, and pay the balance before he would start the job. He kept moving closer to me with dirty looking outfit. By unfortunate contrast, his assistant was quite neat with a clean uniform. The lead worker was verbally and physically insistent, closing in and not respecting my request for physical distancing and masking. I felt very uncomfortable and afraid. Until this point everything had been signed, initialed and paid for remotely through the ****** software. I had already paid $426.67 for the inspection, quote, and deposit. This lead worker was loud in reaction to my alarm at his attempts to have me sign something else on his pad and pay the balance. He said that he would not start the job if he did not first collect full payment. I was very upset and called the Animal Remover office requesting to speak with a manager for clarification, and express my dismay. The general manager was stern and inflexible about his terms (physical duplicate contract signature in person, at the job, and full payment up front- NOT per the ****** contract). This general manager stated that all businesses require full payment before starting a job. In response to my remark that I would review my experience in social media he stated he would refer me to their legal department if I "defame ...[their] character online." He offered to refund the 20% deposit and never do business with me again. I agreed to this. I later discovered that the proposed job would not have addressed my bird intrusion problem anyway. I regret paying Animal Removers $181.95 for the visit to quote my job. The company I ended up with did a very thorough inspection and quote at no upfront cost. I now avoid doing business with any company using ****** software or requesting any payment for a quote.
