This review is for the delivery experience I had. The door **** rang, when I opened up it was a *** delivery man holding a package. I opened the door, said hello and thank you and reached for the package. He told me he needed a signature from (my first name, attempted to say last name). I said that was me, and stated my name. He ruffled his eye brows and looked confused, he questioned "Really?" at which I responded with "Yes," stating my name again and pointed to the name printed on the mailbox. He said he needed an adult over 21 to sign for the package. I told him my age, I am 27, which he repeated again, he needs an adult to sign. I asked him for my package and he refused to hand it over. I asked what I needed to do and suggested I show my ID, at which he accepted. So, I bring my ID, while he's looking at it I explain that he is being agist for judging me on my appearance, he wouldn't question an older man about his identity or age. He then asks "Do you want this package or not?" at which I state, I've provided you my ID, verbally confirmed my name and age, and confirmed my residency with the name on the mail box, at no point did I deny the package, and asked to have the package a second time. He did not say anything, did not have me sign for the package as originally requested, just handed me my ID and the package and walked away. I said thank you and wished him a nice day, with no response. I've never had a *** driver question my identity or age. What concerns me the most is he did not follow protocol and have me sign off for the package after that entire ordeal. The conversation could have gone differently, maybe explaining what the package was, stating his bias by saying I look young and wanted to verify my age, possibly recommending to look at my ID instead of repeatedly saying he needs an adult to sign off, and a simple apology for the confusion. I understand he was just doing his job, but I do not believe that is the way *** drivers should conducts business.
