Replaced our roof last year with a mid-priced roof after much consideration. Our old shaker roof was not broken but was in the cusp of needing to be replaced. After much scheduling issues they finally found time to come and install. However issues started when the workers seemed disrespectful of the grounds (garbage, not cleaning up, broken light fixtures etc). After the job was completed out brand new roof leaked during a major snow storm, the owner said it was an act of nature and promptly sent people to shovel ice dams however we were responsible for interior damage which included drywall that needed to be replaced and painted inside the house. Over the next few months and after said drywall was repaired and repainted the roof has leaked three other times and at another area in the house despite another effort to caulk it. When I call the owner he is very arrogant and yells at me on the phone saying what I say is bull $&^# and that go ahead get a lawyer since I am difficult and impossible to deal with for wanting to get my roof fixed.. There is a warranty on labor and materials that should be honored as well as a common after sales courtesy that should be extended. Basic customer service such as not yelling, not cursing, not hanging up - manners in general - I can't even imagine how he treats other people if this is how he treats paying customers."
